What are you guys thankful for. I'm thankful I met this girl this year, my family, and Jesus!!!

I'm also thankful I take my nursing exam the 1st of December. When I pass I'm going to tell her how I feel a 100 percent no holding back!

What about yall and wish me luck I hear these test are hard...

This Thanksgiving stop looking what you ain't got, and start being thankful what you do got. Know what I'm saying?

Sounds like typical American nonsense to me, but I had to answer, I would say that I am thankful that I have not become blind or crippled. Otherwise, I would have followed Montherlant's example.

Good luck for your exam.

@Meusnier Your literary references are always surprising, from Céline to Montherlant

EDIT: As to what I'm thankful for today (it's Trans Day of Remembrance)... Definitely not the transphobia that killed around 320 trans people this year. Thankful to the hatred it's birthing in me!

I ain't following the thanskgiving stuff, although there are stuff I am thankfull for:

Being born as I could have never been born. Being not crippled. Having both of my eyes as in childhood I could lose my right eye due to accident while having a fun as a kid. That I have friends whom I can trust. That I still have some relatives who hasn't passed away. That I live in Poland which is not soaked yet with movements and ideologies which I think might be negative for my nation and lastly that I live in Independent country.

never been fond of Traditional Thanksgiving Cousine... despite my mom always making sure
that the holiday was observed every damn year without fail during the full entirety of my childhood.

That Said... making up Turkey in an "Instant Pot" with the proper herbs and spices added is actually... Pretty Darned Good.

Also, it cooks in but a tiny fraction of the time of my mom's traditional several-hours-in-the-oven Slo-Method.

Verily... with the Instant Pot, the Future of Cooking hath Arrived;

I'm thankful of the 4 boys in my life. 3 sons and my husband.

For my long term friends, we survived hell and back together, and the ones who are still here we consider each other brothers.

Thatme and the hubby can give our boys a happy life, and that their needs are guaranteed for life.
Me every time I hear the word "reparations": 🤣🤣🤣

White Americans should be more honest and rename it Thankstealing or something along those lines. They were not "given" anything (but flowers in the beginning), they took it by force.

What a poor excuse to stuff yourself with large amounts of American food!

We did this already last month where I live. Though, gratitude being a year round virtue isn't bad.

This ground is soiled by those before me and their lies. I dare not look up for on me I feel their eyes

I'm not from the US, so no need for me to treat this particular day (Thanksgiving Day) or the week featuring it in a special way.

My girlfriend and not being so politically radicalized anymore.
When a pancake lover does something: "Outrageous vicious crime"

When a waffle lover does something: "That means it is not illegal"
