| wow I had to go back and read the previous chapters again because it felt like I missed one! Now this feels like a proper part 2 if you ask me. The scale is big again, with earthquakes and landslides all over the world arguably bigger than the gun devil. We have some secret organization, Nayuta helping out Denji but also kinda hanging out with the one responsible for the attack on them? Yeah, its getting properly crazy. I do wonder if part 2 will have some awesome side characters, because thats the weakest part for me now. Not even semi MCs like Power, but someone like Bomb. |

| i really hope we get more asa stuff after this. the "falling devil arc" had some really cool stuff, and great moments (denjis speech to asa, asa's trauma flashback), but so far my absolute favorite stuff from part 2 has been the intimate moments with asa. |

| page 1 : - nayuta : shouta-kun , yumi-chan . your desserts , give them to me . - hai = yes . - hai = yes . i guess denji still hasnt taught nayuta the correct ways to hold chop-sticks and spoons . page 2 : - miu-chan died too . - SHE IS MISSING . well , technically , she is still missing ... until they find her corpse , lol . the polices sure are working fast in japan . nayuta robs 2 desserts from her friends , and then just seconds later , the polices are here to arrest her , lol . page 4 , last panel : an assisstant forgot to color the shirt of the grandma . page 5 : i guess this talkative grandma says this line to many random peoples around her , including asa who just wakes up : my young grandkid got crushed by debris . - asa : er , too much information , grandma . page 8 : - random guy : iseumi-san , was it ? or should i call you greta thunberg ? lol , she is a crazy , stupid , annoying brat . note that in page 6 , iseumi says : ... "boku" want to work with chainsaw man / CSM ... then in page 9 , he says : kiga . did "ore" really have to appear on that lowbrow show ? they spun "boku" 's every word into jokes ... page 10 : - mysterious guy : ... kiga , ... iseumi-kun ... who is this mysterious guy ? the justice devil ? the fake CSM ? page 11 : - octopus boy : ... denji-kun ... , nayuta-chan ... i guess denji had some experiences with his tongue because when he was more younger , the yakuza also used him as their love slave , lol . |

| 4/5 This one was a doozy. The pacing felt a bit unhinged for part 2 standards but it's still nice to know that Fujimoto can get chaotic with his writing whenever We start off all fine & dandy with Nayuta controlling her classmates for lunch when suddenly she is swatted by what im assuming is public safety or Yaoishida's faction. We cut to Asa who's still slowly recovering all the while, Falling devil's exploits and the ensuing apocalypse are being heavily highlighted by the media and the general populous. Pretty boy Haruka is trying to galvanize people into joining his Chainsaw man cult through media but it all seems to be cunningly orchestrated by Fami & a mysterious shadow figure. I gave Fami a benefit of the doubt last chapter but im taking it back completely. After this chapter, im more inclined to believe that she is still in with the apocalypse What are the odds that Fami wants society to be mentally dependent on Chainsaw Man so all of them are "starved" of his presence while Yoshida has Denji locked up? That's why she's fueling Chainsaw Man's appeal further through media and Haruka to "starve" the general populous of Chainsaw Man and his exploits while simultaneously weakening him just like Makima did. This could mean that Yoshida & Fami probably struck a deal where both parties benefit from Denji's imprisonment in one way or another. Also, last chapter Fami supposedly revealed her "real" motivation to Nayuta but now im starting to think that it was all a childish rouge to get control devil on her side. She tried to manipulate Nayuta, who is a kid, by the prospect of "no more pizza or ice cream" which should work on a whimsical child which it momentarily did until Nayuta rejected the offer for school for which, she would be captured forcefully like her brother Denji Anyways, we then cut to the most hilarious bit in part 2 so far with Denji tied up and confronted by Yoshida. Yoshida explains that he is protecting Denji and Nayuta to which Dennis replies with the most out of pocket thing he has ever said in the manga bolstering the yaoi allegaytions even further. I was bewildered at first but seeing Denji, a guy who has been very transparent about guys is offering to do said things to protect his sister is actually heartwarming and endearing. Give it to Fujimoto to make a scene really questionable but heartwarming at the same time I enjoyed the chaotic nature of this chapter even though nothing really significant transpired. No break~~ |
