| Pretty flashy first episode, thought I understood where the plot was going with the characters and such but the twist was pretty good. It got me by surprised and made me feel more invested and interested in the main characters. |

| Loved it! What an incredible first episode. Masterful in so many ways. And one of my fav songs as ending? Wow. With the amount of subhuman soulless anime being released in recent years, celebrated by an audience with kindred qualities, it's easy to assume the industry has been deprived of real human beings at this point. But thank God there are still good anime being made, by real human beings with heart and soul. |
| Really interesting prologue for what's coming, so I believe it's gonna be a battle royale on that island for who will get the elixir first, and they probably all have motivations similar as MC with his wife |

| Boy, that opening slaps so hard. His body is something else though lmao. None of the execution methods worked on him. Ngl I pretty much fell for it and misinterpreted Gabimaru to be the cliche loner protagonist with badass abilities. On the contrary, he's a loving and thoughtful husband who isn't as 'hollow' as he's thought to be. Gabimaru's wife is so loving. That's just goals fr. Sagiri is a skilled assassin and has a reputed clan/lineage. I wonder what she was doing differently to be able to cut Gabimaru. Is it the blade, some sort of power, or just a different technique? I really wanna know about the power system and how his body is like that. Or how he's using ninjutsu. Anyway, his goal seems to be pretty wholesome as of now. Excited for the next episode. I'll start the manga after this season is finished. ED was nice. |

| One of the best first episodes I have seen in a while. It really got me hooked. Also, he is a cutie. I would never say no to a bit of gore but in the same time he is this wifey guy, almost fell for him x) Totally looking forward to it. Hope it stays as good throughout <3 |

| Gabimaru is very likeable especially since this was the 1st episode. Sagiri is a badass but so is mr Hollow. |
