| Well, my theory last episode that Roberto's about to die & will be replaced with Milly is half true. I didn't expect Roberto to survive this cour, but I didn't expect him to die this soon, figured next episode or the finale. Regardless, while I liked the guy, I'm not really saddened by his death, and I didn't find his death scene emotionally effective personally, just felt kinda rote. Though I liked having Wolfwood's speech transposed on an now more determined Meryl. Outside of that, I like that this episode explored more of the motivations of the villains, and it was cool to see the shirtless scar-bodied Vash scene. |

| I think killing Roberto was a good choice, I don't think he added much to the plot and was just there to take care of Meryl. |

| Best episode so far. Kind of by a large margin for me as well. Wolfwood is still my favorite character in this version but ai just cannot get with his character design. |

| Oh lord… no wonder Knives snapped. That must have been unimaginably horrific too see, especially as a child. I can’t believe Roberto died… my man just wanted to leave the whole time and now he’s dead! This has been brilliant and I honestly think that people who aren’t watching just because of the character design changes and 3DCG are missing out BIG TIME. My only concern is that it’s looking like this will all be wrapped up by the end of season 1… so how can there be a season 2? |

| The link between Nick and Needle Noggin; attempts at allowing humanity to survive without being ecologically self-destructive. Vash, engineered before birth. Wolfwood, engineered after birth. Both are a faster alternative to the flora plants that, while a noble effort, would take generations to implement. The new girl is of the same kind as Vash and Knives and considers him a traitor to the cause, she uses Vash's nativity to her advantage. Roberto's death is sure to be an eye-opener for Meryl and by extension, Vash. |
