A shout out to the director for making the battle so intense with such a low budget, the soundtrack is also used extremely well.

Takeru and Sumika are great in this episode

so in another timeline Takeru ended up with Meiya as lovers eh and that made Sumika unconscious it seems because she loves Takeru too anyway

even if the hive is gone there are still plenty of beta left to fight

I'm seriously happy that Sayoko is having a couple of shared scenes with Sakura.

The detail in which Sayoko keeps the photos of her comrades who died in the TSF is very nice

FYI Unlimited VN (the part before Alternative) allows you to choose between the 4 girls from the squad for the ending, so that's a thing.

FYI Unlimited VN (the part before Alternative) allows you to choose between the 4 girls from the squad for the ending, so that's a thing.

well technically Meiya is cannon, but yeah there are bunch of endings, even the one with Yuuko 😅 that's a bad one tho

Other endings would be proven canon too, if you remember

But yeah, Meiya is default canon per Unlimited, or at least dominant one given her role.

Yeah, other girls kinda gets underwhelmed, when they are actually so awesome. Same goes for muv-luv original stories. Like for example my favourite ones in original are Tama/Marimo I'd say. Well and Sumika. Meiya is fine but she's the last if I should make a list. Also Altered Fable Kashiwagi route was interesting one as well

The game mentioned is literally a prequel of the anime that is required to have those scene explained and not going further beyond this episode. The guideline dont said source media before this episode cant be discussed, thats what Extra and Unlimited belong to right now.

Sumika and Susano-00 is a great weapon to save them from those BETA's...

anyways love this current episode, as it showed how SUSANO -00 can save humanity, sadly its so powerful that it takes a toll to Sumika (which is piloting it)...

looking forward to next episode

They weren’t kidding about the Susano-O being humanity’s secret weapon, it took two shots to wipe out the hive, and it looked really badass too, the design of the robot and the massive laser beam were really cool. It was a really nice moment when everyone was celebrating the achievement but of course it’s not done yet, with more BETA being underground and Sumika suddenly losing consciousness it looks dire once again.

Takeru’s solo fight against the BETA was really awesome too, really well done imo, I’m sure it was satisfying for Takeru too. I also liked the shots of the other front and the battleships firing, really helps show the massive scale of this battle and how everyone is fighting together. Also Takeru’s horny flashback was well timed lol, must be nice being able to remember your other love interests’ routes. Another great episode.

Fair enough. Also reminded me how marimo is the most marginalized (and the best) heroine. They literally took away every marimo ending from localized games (extra and altered fable).

Marimo is available on Extra though via the Directors Cut patch, but the new publisher (anCHOR, yes) is too strictly want to come clean that they basically made that obsolete. That also the reason her route is unavailable in EN ver of Altered Fable.

Though her route is actually the worst outcome possible for the game itself.

Anyways put AF mentions aside since technically it kinda broke the guidelines. Extra is fine to discuss here though.

I think it's less about marimo not finding a decent men but more about marimo's "you know what" that drives men away. But she's still the best even with that.
