| Me who was fully aware it will end like this rocketpuppys said: Still I think Shiki could have at least gone on another date with her. It's only high school. They could end up together at collage, or at work afterwards. I still have hope for Akino. Yeah, they could have be a couple for few (5~10?) chapters then realise their relationship is too awkward, Shiki realising he is indeed only interested in Fuyuki breaking up with Akino so he would focus on main girl. |

| Akino had confessed, and it remained to see Shiki's response. And as expected, he rejected her. Shiki was very sincere with his answer, and he still has feelings for Fuyuki. So far, the whole situation between them was normal. But at the end, Akino did cry...damn :( But well, Shiki has to get closer to Fuyuki now. And it seems that we are already entering the final stretch of the manga. |
| This whole arc, actually these past arcs have not been making much sense. -We don't get to see Shiki interact with Fuyuki, in fact they are distancing themselves from each other. -Despite that fact, Shiki is still head over heels for Fuyuki while at the same time he doesn't feel good thinking about Sayu having a boyfriend. -From the very first time Sayu is introduced, she has been the best girl of the manga. -Past characters are forgotten (the girl Senpai Shiki rejected). And as per the rule of thumb, best girl always loses. |
