| AbemaTV streams the first episode today. https://twitter.com/tenken_official/status/1575125676289454080 Episode kinda went as how I had expected by introducing Fran and that talking sword that's twice her size. Like isekai shows these days, there's some focus on stats similar to RPG games. This actually did feel like watching a game being played along with its animation segments. Against all odds, Fran turns out to be a badass. Character chemistry so far seems amusing too. |

| Weekly early streaming on ABEMA. For actual subs via HIDIVE, you will have to wait exactly a week later. C2C is back from Tsukimichi producing another Isekai series...and well lols, that's one interesting way to get Isekai-ed and reincarnated out of, being a literate sword awaiting its rightful owner to wield it. But until then, it's doing its own usual level-up traits just like any other typical protagonist, killing creatures like goblins (because Goblin Slayer isn't an influence enough, which the LN came out a few months before this). Though it's funny how a sword like that could just fly willy-nilly anywhere at anytime, and it's awfully desperate for it to be claimed as the days and month passes. A nice introduction to Fran being a cat slave in her tribe, the Black Cats, having endured the enslavement and maltreatment of its owners, only to have its caravan attacked by a twin-headed bear. A talking sword isn't all that matters, and while Fran is able to pull the sword out and wield it to eliminate the monster before her, it also freed her from her slavery. The journey of Fran and her sword "master" (Shishou) is just beginning, and Maon Kurosaki's ED is very good. A pretty introductory episode, and I expect no less from director Shinji Ishihira (whom also did Tsukimichi). Gonna be a fun ride from here on out. |

| Goblin Slayer would be proud of this episode. To honest, in my opinion cat girls are the ultimate evolution already. Every animal eared girls are great, but for sake of this, cat ears supremacy! Was nice, sword meets girl. Almost forgot. He say the name of the title when introducing himself, wow wow wow....wow. |

| Fran was very cute. Fun expressions when chatting with the sword. Not sure how far this will adapt but I do hope the fight scenes are of similar quality they had with the bear fight and not just a first episode ordeal. Not that it was mind boggling amazing but it was enjoyable enough. |

| The sword twist would've been nice if you didn't know about the title of this anime and with a bit more build up...ok it was still kinda funny. Seems to be isekai standard fare. There's a bit decent action and violence, but the voice acting of the one and only Mikishin is what carries for now. Just not sure if I will keep watching for that alone. Fran is cute, tho. Here's me hoping for fun dynamics. To me it's preferable that her and Shishou are forming a master and student and possibly a father and daughter relationship. We already have enough OP MC's surrounded by girls. |

| I feel like the 1st episode was a bit underwhelming, but maybe that's just me. Though, I'll be happy as long as it doesn't turn as bad as that Strongest Sage anime from a few seasons ago. I've only read a few manga, and these two are the ones that have gotten adaptations. |

| Thanks to Bilibili for streaming this early. You know the deal already, got hit by car then got isekai. Of course there is a slavery. Our MC is voice by Shinichiro Miki same VA as Urahara from Bleach. He got the charisma already. Yup, definitely what I'm expecting from the Trailer and they delivered it. I like the Action sequences, music was nice. Such a promising start. |

| The 1st episode released and I just watched it,,,but can't add it in my list. And ofcourse the moment we have been longing for the protagonist being a tool has finally ended. Now they are seriously trying to create a romantic relations with a tool? Ngl the Neko girl is hella cute... Will give it a few more go |

After browsing and looking into some of those 'modern' manga-isekai-clones lately I can say that it's most likely the latter. 8.5/10 of those clones are not worth the paper they are printed on - unfortunately they still seem to sell - whatever audience that might be. Initially I was thinking that some of them might actually be mildly entertaining or funny, but the truth is that most of them are just plain and utter crap. That goes especially for the writing - and it actually often seems like stories some 9y/o child came up with - not even exaggerating here. I personally might give the show another 1-2 episodes though - but if the next one doesn't come up with some actually good jokes or references I most likely drop it on the spot. More than enough actually GOOD content this season as well, so there is no need to waste precious time on crap. |
