K-ON!
| As you may have noticed, K-On! doesn't have its slice of life tag anymore. You can check for yourself. If you are like me, one of the first anime you think of when thinking of slice of life is K-On!. However, it seems like MAL disagrees with me. However, I'm curious if "K-On! isn't a slice of life anime" is a popular opinion at all. What do you guys think? Should MAL give K-On! the slice of life tag back? If you don't think it's a slice of life, what is your reasoning behind it? |

Are you saying that those two genres can't be together or that they don't have to say it's a SoL because it's already a CGDCT? It isn't clear. tobythesandwich said: MAL has changed the genre. I'd say they should shorten the tags shown but give a way to fully display all tags related so that it doesn't feel hidden from certain genres |

| I’ve always considered it a slice of life anime. I can understand the argument that it’s not considering it’s mostly music and school focused and school anime =/= slice of life anime. However, I believe there is quite enough time dedicated to our protagonists just hanging out, outside of school no less, and a display of people’s outside hobbies, activities, and interests that warrants the tag of slice of life. |

| It's already included in CGDCT which is a sub genre of slice of life. I think that's fine. |
