| If the dub returns with the same cast, sign me the fuck up for this sequel. An anime I really enjoy with my brain and logic completely turned off once in a while, nice seeing Trigger go back to its roots with just a dumb, fun, and crude show (even though this was made by Gainax at the time since this predates Trigger's existence). |

Yes, however, after over a decade, the stupid cliffhanger will be put to rest, that GAINAX ending is not the end of the series, hahahahaha. Hope the same voices return for both sub as well as dub. | So hyped. and cautiously optimistic. Loved the first season, but I never thought a sequel would be possible because I thought Gainax owned the IP, and we all know how difficult it was for Anno to get Eva back from them. Knowing Trigger is producing this is good news because that means it's likely the same team who worked on the first season will be back for this; just gotta make sure Imaishi is directing it. |
