| I swear, for the longest time, my aunts and uncles had no idea how old I was. When I was younger (like, still in elementary school), one aunt gave me this lovely purse...but it looked more to be something for a teenager or older. Then, when I actually was older, as in a high school student, one of my aunts gave me this cute plastic/vinyl backpack...that looked like it was for a 5-year-old. I never used either of them =/ |

| For my 16th birthday, one of my friends gave me this rubber ball. It had like..rubber hairs or cillia or something all over it, and if you squeezed it really hard it would get thinner and look funny. ...I don't really know what it was for. It was fun to play catch with though, because people were totally grossed out by those mini tentacle hairs and kept dropping it. |

| a black light bulb. not even a lamp, just the bulb. it was wrapped in like 12 layers of paper around the box and 3-4 layers of masking tape with a ton of bubble wrap to protect it from the rocks inside the box, I would assume. I'm fairly sure that the wrappings cost more than the actual gift. |

Like two years ago, my dad came home (from a trip to Mexico) with a puppy and said "Keep your grades up and you can keep the dog" and then he left the puppy in my room.
