| I wasn't impressed by neither the song nor the visuals. I like metalcore but I think SiM's brand of metalcore doesn't work well with the orchestra. I like the middle section though. Reminds of a SepticFlesh, a Greek death metal band I like. I think I'll rank it third or maybe second worst but I need to listen to it more and that won't happen anytime soon because I plan to binge the series when I get a week's leave from the base. | Will take some time to get adjusted to the song, even as a rock fan myself. It doesn't sync well with the visuals overall but has its good moments at times like with the action/fight scenes at times and at the end too. I prefer songs like these to work with more intense, unchained opening visuals like how Maximum the Hormone's opening song for Death Note's second opening worked near flawlessly. But again, I'll give it some time and a few relistens down the line to see if my opinion improves drastically on it. My favorite OP from this franchise easily is still Red Swan. |
| Just like the rest, it was a very good opening, wasn’t too sure when I heard a heavy metal band was going to perform it, but I’m genuinely surprised and I reckon it will sound more and more natural to me with each episode. Still think the second half is better, both with how the song sounds, and the lyrics, but the first bit was no let down by any means. | Great opening. Love the song, especially the chorus. Visuals are very well done too. That last bit with Eren's transitioning...wow. I prefer intros that are more thematic like My War but then again, those are very rare when it comes to anime and considered pretty much every other aot opening had visuals straight from the episodes. tbh I dont understand this argument about the opening giving away a lot of spoilers when previous seasons have all done it (throwback to s2 ed). The point being, they're not spoilers if the viewer (anime only) doesn't know what they portray. Opening 7: 7.5/10, least favorite after OP2 |

| The OP was decent. I still think Sasageyo and Guren No Yumiya are way better. I want to also point out that the ED is better than the OP for me and also could be the best in this series. The ED really gave me the mushoku tensei feel!! |

| Not a fan of the op. The visuals were great and the lyrics were pretty relevant to what will happen... But I don't like the song. As usual instead of getting a good metal song for an anime op we just get an awful one. Sad to see AOT go from 6 good opening songs into whatever this last song was. |
| The visuals are amazing, while not every single shot looks great, but majority of the scenes look amazing. The song on the other hand, is a big yikes. |

| I think the ending is better, but still a very solid opening, a 8.5/10 for now. It kind of gave me Death note op2 vibe. |
