Pretty lame imo, if you are gonna add guttural voice just go all the way and sing the entire song like that, this mix between guttural and regular voice is pretty lame.

I love the title, "The Rumbling", really straightforward...and the ending, is just really good and it will hit really hard in the last eps, maybe...

as an aot fan it's kinda hard to say that, but for me this op is even better than "shinzou wo sasageyo!".. the refrain is so awesome, the best of the openings in my opinion (it has a lot of spoilers, but as a manga reader i don't care lmao)

I myself really enjoy the OP. It's edgy, yes, but goes all out.

The song and the visuals marry each other perfectly imo. They really embraced the finality of the story and showed the most beloved characters at their best.

And the lyrics - in english so everyone in the world can sing (and scream) along. Genius move.

but the thing is people won't really know if they're spoilers unless they have read the manga so it's kinda fine?? i'm sure manga readers can instantly identify the events happening in the opening, but they already know it's happening so it's fine

I don't like the lacking visuals and the metal parts at the start and end when they scream but otherwise I think its pretty good. It's better than all the other openings except my war and guren no yumiya.

It's ok, but AOT has way better openings than that one, I don't like the fact people are hyping it up as the best thing ever and giving it more than 6m views in a day, idk maybe it's just me but i feel that's a pretty mediocre mindset.

I want a real epic final opening and not some screamos angsty song with a mix of weird 3D and 2D inserted into it, AOT deserves better since it has already had better.

No, you're the one spoiling everything lmao, as I said, as a non manga reader I saw no spoilers there when I first watched it. If you're a first time watcher then you're gonna have theories that might come true or not.

Of course if you're a manga reader it's gonna bother you, but once again, it doesn't bother people who have no idea of what's going on, if that was the case then no one would have cried, cared, gotten hype or worried with any of the stuff you listed since the opening "ruined it". It never ruined anything for me, my friends or random youtube reactors, also making theories is pretty fun.

The opening literally shows Erwin standing in front of his dead comrades in minute 1:09 with grayish color scheme. If that doesn't give you a thought of the possibility of him dying watching this scene then you must be thick, no offense.

The opening was meh, too much screaming and the metalcore they chose didn't fit in. The season itself is actually pretty good. The quality is much better then the previous seasons and all the character are much better now.

It does feel like an AMV...
don't get me wrong, i did kind of like it but i don't think i was expecting that for one of the last op. It lacks subtlety. I prefer red swan, Boku no Sensou, and Jiyuu no Tsubasa. The rest of the op just falls in a bin that i don't really care to order...
