Hmmm I thought they gonna do some actual police work like stopping crimes or not something a bti more serious but no it's just a traffic cop doing silly things, slightly disappointed but overall it's okay maybe it will grow on me

Loved the drama that came out a few months ago, was surprised, somewhat joyed and hyped when I heard about the anime a bit over a week ago, and now I'm really joyed and hyped after watching the 1st episode but while I couldn't help but hear the live action actors voices in my head to the point where I thought it would've been really awesome if they got the actors to voice their characters in the anime, and sort of wanted that, Fuji for once felt to me like a complete different character from the one I know from the voice alone! I guess comparing the 2 is inevitable for me and probably anyone who saw the drama before this one, I can tell a few different things already that I won't mention to not spoil the drama but none were bad from either of them but there was one thing I liked here more and another there more.
I totally love the art style and I'm impressed that the girls aren't sexualized considering this is a seinen anime and all, then again it's not the first one so I guess it's nothing to be impressed about after all...!!
Sucks Funimation got their hands on it instead of Crunchyroll, there subs are a mess sometimes and for other reasons, but oh well.
Oh and Kawai is Kawai! Pun intended.

I don't know how to say it without spoiling anything so I'll only say you'll see how good it is. And they were technically doing their job anyways, so..

Compared to other animes of the police genre, this is a joke.
The main character with blue hair is just a lack of respect to the Japanese police force, and she's not even funny. And the first interaction that they had with the perpetrator (that was the suspect of assaulting various houses) was so dumb and impossible, So fake!
And if it was "comedy" it didn't really had any sense.

This anime is just giving a wrong image to the public about the police and the character are disappointing. The law is not something to do comedy with.

Ep 1 opinion:
Quite fresh comedy idea. Some part is illogical however. The senpai is quite the devil actually and a karma hits her in same episode.

Seems will be good filler when you have nothing else to watch if you looking for comedy genre.

That was a lot more fun than I'd thought it'd be! I mean nothing amazing, but definitely enjoyable. Fuji is really funny, I like her attitude and personality, haha. I totally get her since I've worked in customer service before where you meet bad customers pretty often.

I also found it interesting when Kawai explained to the children why they should follow the rules. That's kind of eye-opening :o

Anyways, I'll definitely keep watching for now, even though I wasn't sure if the humor would be up my alley!

Other people already told you about plot... So I will say that they are literally doing actual police work, it only would be more realistic if we would see a lot of paper work.

The artstyle is a favorite of mine. To some it may appeal, to others it might not. The Civilians are really hateful to Police Officers. Calling them rough insulting names and then recieving a large fine for something simple such as Speeding and other things.

I cannot wait to continue this series!

They're kinda funny with surprises, the dose of reality in a work SOL.
Past shows in these topics been underwhelming, might wait a bit.
Some familiar VAs in another work SOL.
Fuji is Chiyu from Aquatope (also bullies younger coworkers lol)
Yamada is Kai from Aquatope

Opening at the very beginning of the episode...very rare for anime these days

Fuji letting out profanity-filled frustration from the verbal abuse she faces daily ๐Ÿ˜„

The detectives from the other other department that Fuji transferred from sure were pissed at the "good cop" routine Mai was pulling with the serial robber.

Mai became a police officer despite memorable incident of her father being ticketed because said father encouraged her to do a civil service job due to the stress he was facing in his blue collar job.

She was left with the option of police officer because it's the only civil service exam she passed (so the opposite of Tsunemori from Psycho Pass).

Well this show so far has put off a better impression for me, unlike so many other shows from the last season.

I would rather watching Good Cop, Bad Cop than the Slice of Life of Cops, which is unrealistic and not engaging. Waifu bait.
Help! I need somebody. Help! Not just anybody. Help! You know I need someone. Helpppppp!

Seems like a funny, laid-back police anime so far. Kawai's flashback story really made me tear up a little, getting a ticket from the damn cops sure is traumatising for your empty wallet :'(

So far, I like it. I can relate to the characters especially when chief fuji started to cuss after every violation ticket hahaha. I mean, sometimes we voice out our frustrations regarding our the clients/customers we face at work.
