| The revelation of Aida being Aurora, she's rocking waves, and that isn't any good of darkness alluring Neo San Francisco from the likes of OctinQ. They need a new song to counter Theo Eight's Second Act. DJ has been doing all the wingman job for Muteki, but he clearly doesn't appreciate the fact that DJ is doing all this to protect him from calamity. Guess a leopard never changes its spots, and Muteki is just being that ungrateful brat. The next candidate on DJ's list is Suteking, but that goes without saying that fate will bind both DJ and Muteki together. Muteki is back being Muteking, but of course he can't take his eyes off Aurora's alluring presence trying to defeat her alone. The only way so is to create that new song, and DJ being DJ, sure loves to rile up some heaty stuff from the absurd cooking. Hope the comeback comes soon, and evil is gaining one step ahead. |

| I was looking forward to seeing Muteki's and DJ's new song, but we will have to wait until next week. Maybe, DJ's plan is to bring Muteking and Suteking together for the new song since both DJ and Muteki can't beat Aurora alone. |

| Is it just me, or did this episode soulless? Not even in a same way as Neo San Francisco is after last week. I mean the animation is awkward in places, the movements are janky and weird, the jokes were half-hearted and barely there. Vivi just gives vague platitudes and that helps Muteki because they can't think of a anything wise or meaningful for her to say. The main "battle" and the moments leading up to it were super rushed. I'm super disappointed with how they handled the cliffhanger next episode. I know this was a light-hearted show, but to gloss over the "deaths" of those people at the amusement park felt weird. Muteki showed more annoyance with DJ's behavior than the fact that their failure lead to their home slowly being destroyed. And Muteki's problem with DJ is gotten over it within the span of a couple of minutes. They didn't even address that Muteki is totally write about DJ being shitty. I know, "Muteki doesn't care about things like stalking, withholding information and genuinely acting weird to make the plot seem mysterious," but it's hard to take their friendship as seriously as they want us to, when they're just half-assing it. So that weird cat-alien thing is supposed to represent DJ? I never thought about it, but that makes sense I guess. |
| This episode really teased the prospect of DJ being Muteki's dad more than before. Since Muteking and DJ could not defeat Aurora together, I think they are going have a team of two heroes with Suteking. |

| Pffft Seeing DJ treat Suteking so well when he pretty much charges or makes Muteki pay for everything killed me. Muteki straight up stealing DJ's boombox. He's so petty, ha hah hah! But a father figure? That's what DJ was going for? lol I mean if he's maaaybe with Muteki's grandma then I guess it would be a connection that's fatherly or grandfatherly. :U I appreciate the way they made up though. Meant to say, I like Aurora's new song except for the mumbling. |
