You don't have to curse, you know. I do like old school anime, but I don't like boxing, so I didn't know about Ashita no Joe or Rocky. The scene is widely known for me from DBZ onwards. |

| Ok the ending where Elma breaks down and says she misses hanging out with Tohru was great. I knew the flashbacks were building up to some meaningful development between them. |

| I'm really liking the voice-over. I hope they have more of it. Damn that fight at the end. The fact that this show isn't even tagged as an action series, yet we get something as grand as this. Kyoto Animation don't miss. |

| So Tooru still works at the cafe, it seems?.. Well, at least at times, not sure, how regular, or she's getting summoned at times.. I don't really believe the friendship arc, or something.. I don't think Elma's and Tooru's relationship will change after this, really, but be my guest and surprise me.. I don't think show will do anything like that, though.. So it really feels like strange reason they fought there, to be honest.. |
This is such a good episode, easily top 3 between both season.
All 3 done with phenomenal pacing and great animation-work. |
| Possibly the best episode yet, of both seasons. Nothing like a good fight for two old friends to bond, right? Well, they almost split the Earth in half but I think it was worth it ^.^ The animation quality by KyoAni was outstanding, and so where the sound effects of the battle. I literally watched plenty of parts frame by frame to savor them better :) This episode was full of Elma indeed. At her job she pulled a different kind of battle, even though she lost against Shuta's dad. That dude is dark isn't he? As for Ilulu, she sure loves to tease Taki-kun with her... 'flame balls' doesn't she? :) |

| Probably the best episode of this season (till now)! Elma was a great main character and her antics with the kids while camping was really wholesome and funny. Her battle with Tohru was very pleasing to look at and the fact that she just wants to be friends with Tohru again warmed my heart. And obviously the animation was stellar once again throughout the episode. |

| Wasn't there an option on MAL to see who exactly from the studio worked on each specific episode? Cause the quality of this episode outclassed the previous ones, and I was curious which individuals from Kyoto Animation we can thank for that. |

| Damn, what an episode. First some Elma SoL story, Shouta shows that he's actually capable at magic, a short but very funny scene with Iruru... and then that amazing fight that also hit you in the feels. Sasuga KyoAni. |
| That's really sweet how the two are slowly starting to mend their friendship. It's always sweet to see that kind of thing |
