| Another good episode. It seems like Near is going to best Light, but right now, the vagueness on what Light's plan is seems to foreshadow an unseen twist. |

| I gotta agree with the 2nd Season being a little boring. When it was Light and L there was a lot more humour and chasing it seems. Near is just too good and makes it seem like Light is barely a challenge to him, which in turn makes it really boring to read/watch, it's just not fun and mysterious as it was. |

| yeah I enjoyed the battle with L and Light more than Near and Light. It's just kinda boring to me but I still watch it because I want to see how it ends. |

| I'm frustrated with how godawful stupid Light's team is. Near is lame lame lame. Mello is lame, too, but not as much. Happy to see Matt and Mello finally coming back next episode. The best ending would be if L came back somehow. And Light would be like, "crap. I thought you were dead." And L would be like, "yeah. I wasn't." End. |

| UGH!!! i hate aikawa and mogi now.. those tattletales!! and NEAR TOO!!! risking the life of giovanni like that... its like he forces them to do what he wants regardless... he bluntly says that giovanni might die if there's a shinigami and will send lester if he's scared!??!?! L doesn't force people like that! HATE NEAR! i wish Light's gonna win and not that stupid NEAR... but... it seems near has it all planned out now... NOOO |

| I disagree, these last few episodes between Near and Light have been great. So, far Near has been more than a match for him. This is definitely better than that Yotsuba travesty. |

| So I'm guessing Mello is going to pop out at the end? Why does everyone do that nowadays >.> I rather liked this episode, but they're going to need an amazing ending for me to say it has the quality of the first couple of episodes. |

| Well light continues to show his cunningness and intelligence.. I mean a shinigami could infact be following him he cant see it cause light told mikami to switch his deathnote with a fake one remember? x.x it seems hes still a step ahead..but Ns pretty good.. though i believe L was better since he worked from scratch, without any knowledge of the book etc |

| quite interesting, Light hasnt done anything "genius" like so its safe to assume that theres still something under light's sleeve. This anime is hitting its final climax, cant wait. |
| Is it just me, or in that part that comes before and after the commercials, where it shows one of the rules in the Death Note, does it say "bictims" instead of "victims"? It's before either the second or third commercial break, and I swear to god it say "bictims". I guess it's not that big of a deal, it's just a typo, but I just found it strange, especially in a high-quality anime like Death Note, for there to be a typo. I also think that it's likely it WAS a typo because the B key is right next to the V key, so it's very possible that when typing the rule out, the guy doing it accidentally bumped the B key, and somehow nobody noticed it. Maybe the people who make Death Note don't read that, they just pay attention to things that are actually important. |
