Aye, let those tears out. Feelings are shattered this episode but at the same time, I feel like some of the Resonators are getting closer.

Momo's intuition is impressive as she's always on the move to discover secrets about what she's looking into. This was a tough episode to watch.

Beautiful episode today. The final scene with the girls crying got me emotional. I’m glad everyone began to understand each other’s feelings a little better.

The truth hurts harder than most, but Hiori can just try to play the act and hide her true feelings by being her happy-go-lucky self. If anything, Momo's partly to blame for all the chaos with her past resonation with Hiori's sister Mio, yet Hiori takes it to heart for her part of kindness.

Momo has always been on the move due to her sharp intuition, and has been some fine background help over the past few episodes. And to Hiori and Ruka's resonating partnership, it's finally time that Hiori has her inner wall of feelings broken down with the backstory with her sister Mio, so that Ruka can better understand her.

The causal effect of innocent girls having their Fragments of emotions and feelings taken away, that's what happened to Kana last episode when Mio took her Fragment away and pinned into darkness, and now it's the evil's side to strike first.

The worse part being that both Hiori and Ruka cannot resonate with each other, their powers are essentially halved. Telling Hiori to find herself and establish feelings of her own is a big leap forward for her character, and would do well for their resonation going forward to protect those they love.

Officially 1/3rd of the way, and boy does it sure feel insanely slow.

Pretty emotional episode, but this show is still painfully bland.

Is it just me or did this episode had the audio playing a bit fast than the video,
If it is then I’m disappointed this series story is not particularly bad for it to get rated below 6 in mal and if J.C staff continues this for 2 continuous cour then I don’t see how it will get any good later in the series and the dialogue feels cringe.I hope any of my favourite series doesn’t get animated by J.C staff with them burdened with heavy production load upon another only to make it unbearable to watch

Hmm I don't think it's bad in particular but the majority of us are certainly not the right audience for it. It's really kiddy stuff mostly if I had to point out something specific. I don't want to drop it because that's not really my style but it's reaaaly different from what I am used to usually. lol

Lots of angst, very emotional, super slow paced. We still have no idea about what the actual main plot is, it's just been back and forth trying to steal / protect feelings with some character development thrown in.

I've played the game and I've read that if a sephira wins, they can reshape a world in their image.

So I'm sure that Netzach is the winner here and seemed to have recreated everything

Plenty of things are still not explained, like the whole plot. lol
I mean, Mio's (Sister's) plan. But it seems we're getting there... one day.

For me, this was a touching and wholesome episode, and for that it has its own merit. Also, while in the start I've been having this feeling that there's more drama in this show than we could care about, since the characters are not very fleshed out yet, I feel that this aspect is slowly (and pretty slowly) improving as we get to know other backstories beside rich girl's first world problems.

But I'm not sure where this is all going or if it's going to be a concise story in the end. It really shouldn't be so uncertain when we're 1/3th of the way, but oh well. Right now I would no longer say this is a mediocre show as I would before, because quite clearly the whole point of this is 1) to sell the game and 2) to talk about feelings, and it does so nicely here and there. However, it's not exactly above average either. If the pacing was faster or if we had more narrative being explained through action, this would be more appealing to most of the viewers, for sure.

Don't even know what a Sephira is, but please, could you add spoiler tag or warning there? It sounds like important information that not everyone would like to know right now.

I can't seem to take this seriously nor can I enjoy it, it's like borderline, do I drop it or not, especially since its 24 episodes somehow, it's like they give the worse shows more episodes sometimes, but whatever, I would easily see it through if it was 12 episodes but just imagining this finishes in like 16 weeks really puts me off. For now I'll continue and hope to enjoy it somewhat at least, we shall see.

You gotta play the game. It's okay, but the music is a 10/10

Music is probably the best part of the anime as well. Are you saying that because you played the game and recommend it?

Yes. However, even after playing the game, this anime is still confusing.
Game is easy to finish, and the achievements are...all slightly easily obtainable.

Oh, I see now. Sephiras are the enemies in the game.
Well, the game does look gorgeous and I saw plenty of comments complimenting the soundtrack, but, for a laid back RPG with low replay value, it seems kinda expensive. I'll keep it in my steam wishlist for now, and if I enjoy the anime and the game goes on a sale, I'll take another look then.

Good episode. First it was Hiori that helped Ruka to understand her feelings and meaning to become a reflector, now it's Ruka turn to do the same for Hiori.
Wonder what happened to Niina, she looks like she just so afraid of being abandoned that her feeling goes out of control and her powers weaken for now.

Finally we know the name of mastermind of evil reflectors Shino, since her illness is getting better the more fragments evil reflectors gather, she need to die, it's only way for good side to win,and i clearly saw a death flag for her in this episode i can guess her death will be at 13-14 episode.

In Game you can restore fragments, so this girls still have a chance to return to normal ones, wonder if Ruka or Hiori can restore fragments like Hinako.

Next episode should have Niina on the loose and Momo confronting her.
I wonder if we will learn about Mio's masterplan before the second half of the series begins.

terrifying effect of Fragment being taken is.. the person would feel empty and want to commit suicide. ><

and weird, the girl with the disease seems to be not worried at all that her body is turning into something like that.

Oh yeah, without their feelings they're just on their way to die.
That's terrible for Hiori's situation and how she feels, at least she has Ruka with her

I don't understand anything about what's going on, I feel like there's a strong story behind all this but either the anime doesn't bother to explain it to me well or I lost the thread a while ago, plus the issue that all the characters have a basic appearance and nothing striking makes me confuse them and I can not learn who is who.

Sorry if I write something incorrect, English is not my native language.

Blue Reflection Ray review. A fascinating show. The surface story is a well designed and plotted magical girl show where the protagonists try to protect other girls' negative feelings from being "consumed" by the antagonists for their own use.

But the show subverts anime tropes to create a sense of foreboding, and way the show plays with the characters' perception of reality makes the viewer question everything they see. The theme of hundreds of girls and women living with social anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome and other mental health problems is a dark commentary on the mores and structures in modern society.

An excellent Anime that is worth bing watching. It has 24 Episodes. + 24 OVA Mini Chibi Episodes all worth watching.

Storyline: 9/10
Art style: 10/10
Music: 9/10
Fight scenes: 9/10
Overall Enjoyment: 9/10

This is one of the best Magical Girl Anime and Video games I have ever watched and played. Some of the characters in the franchise. Hiori Hirahara, Mio Hirahara, Yuzu & Lime Shijō Yuzuki, Shijō Raimu, Ruka Hanari, Shino Mizusaki, Uta Kamogawa, Nina Yamada, Saiki Yuri, Yukiko Takaoka. Gust Koei Tecmo DMM Pictures Games and Anime. Reflector battles.Blue Reflection Ray is a really good Anime. You should watch it if you haven't yet. The music is beautiful, characters are lovable, gameplay is really good. Also the storyline is very enjoyable. I recommend em to everyone who is either into Anime. Or just wants a fun Magical Girl Anime to watch. The transformations are similar to Sailor Moon and Madoka Magica in a way. Some of the art style reminds me of Yuki Yuna is a Hero. Like the color schemes in some scenarios. Ruka Hanari looks similar to Sailor Mars Rei Heino in a way. This has one of the best Anime OST BGM soundtracks I have ever heard hands down. If you have not played Blue Reflection, Tie/Second or even watched the Blue Reflection Ray Anime. Than your missing out. This series is quite enjoyable and lovable. Blue Reflection Ray that takes place between the first and second game that is a must watch. Really enjoyed it a lot. Blue Reflection Sword other the girl who dances in illusions. Blue Reflection Tie.

I love Mel Kishida's art style. It's very pretty. The Anime as a whole is perfect. It may not be the cream of the crop, but it's still really fun. And really enjoyable.
