| This is such unexpected and painfully sad news... I'm not the most religious person in the world but I hope he's out there somewhere in peace. He used his life creating one of the most brilliant pieces of fiction of all time. Thank you Miura Kentaro and rest now. |

| I am in tears. This series, his characters helped me through so much throughout so many rough patches in my life. It makes me sick that people who truly leave such a mark on the world always die too soon, before they get to say everything they wanted, and yet utter scum continues to exist day-by-day and simply WON'T leave us be or disappear. I can think of billions of others I'd trade just to have Miura back. |

| I am one of the people who only watched the original anime and were waiting for the manga to end to read it and I'm still hit absurdly hard for the news, I'm not ready to see the reactions of all my friends who have followed the manga for a good time when they wake up and see this. Rest in piece Miura, your hands created a work people will remember many, many decades in the future. A real tragedy his life ended so young, he was only 54 man. |

The Duranki assistants can do the art; it just depends on how much story he left behind. He was a very secretive man, so who knows. Otherwise it's just fanfiction, and I imagine a lot of different takes and so it might just become a "pick your headcanon" kind of scenario. But HE definitely deserves to have it be completed. It meant just as much to him as it did to every one of us. |

| I'm honestly at a loss for words here. Berserk has become such a phenomenon and the fact that it could go down incomplete is just saddening. May his soul rest in peace, and thanks for everything! |

| After so many of my friends bugging me to read Beserk, I decided to buy his volumes last week. Once I started reading it, I could not stop. It was that good. I have yet to catch up on all the chapters, but after hearing this news. All I can say I'm devastated. I may not have been a fan of this series for too long, but my condolences to you, Muira Sensei, and your family, and to all the fans of Beserk. I hope you rest well Miura Sensei. We will remember you for creating one of the best works of fiction. |
