That was a super exciting episode! At first I thought that the other (tree-based) "entity" was also sent by Fushi's maker to test them and/or have them evolve faster, but apparently it was sent by some other party which is malevolent and wants to destroy this world. I didn't expect Fushi's maker (and narrator) to intervene so soon but presumably the situation was critical; Fushi was almost reduced back to a mere stone - or even orb if the stone data could also be also stolen..

So Fushi can assume any form (organic, non organic, animate and inanimate, including plants and trees) but the other entity can only take the form of plants/trees, not animals and people. And the objective of Fushi's maker is to "preserve this world".

That was quite an information dump, based on the earlier narration I thought the objective of Fushi was just to observe the world and then report (probably unknowingly, via telepathy) back to his maker. So Fushi is not meant to be a mere observer but an active agent created for the purpose of "preserving this world", which apparently means saving it either from itself or from the malevolent tree-like entities. I see..

Surprised we are actually meeting the creator and that there are potential supernatural villain characters that may appear. Definitely not the direction I would choose to take this series, but I am still excited for what will come.

another impressive episode!
so Fushi used all the people he encountered and good thing March's form was small and ideal way to reach to the core!
but damn! that kind of enemy is one of Fushi's weakness because it slowly steals of of Fushi's different forms!
thank god! old baba Pioran was safe!!!
5/5.
looks like more new characters will be introduced next ep! hyped for it!!!

I liked the episode wondering what are new occurances, what was that wood creature and was wondering how he learnt so soon whereas I am watching Japanese more than couple of years and still didn't get it, questions are wide and open and I hate to wait, I wish I could watch all episodes now

Fushi is pretty much close to fluent in speaking at this point, it's interesting to see how fast he learns.

Of course there's a supernatural presence that can actually impede Fushi's immortality. Guess it wouldn't be interesting if Fushi could just revive and adapt his way out of any situation. I wonder if the maker can do anything about it if Fushi actually got defeated, and whoever created that tree thing.

Enjoyed Fushi's foray into language and the establishing of a persistent, antagonistic force. Really looking forward to seeing the "family" he's joining; based on the OP it definitely seems to be for the long-haul.

The arc break.

But its also solidified another Fushi's growth by encountering the previous fake shaman named Pioran, and followed her to her hometown. In return by escorting her, Pioran taught Fushi all of the human-like knowledge; writing, recognizing a various kinds of words for everything they encountered, helped him speak properly about that words, living like a human being. The monster, the orb, Fushi, learn much, and could speak better. Even though he was still talking haltingly, his progress receiving more stimulation felt really smooth. The interaction with the elder woman, Pioran was so good, until Fushi encountered a new things.

Thats the narrator, the maker, the observer of the story, arrived, to gave Fushi a little brief about that entity whose attack you. The entity designed with the objective of weakening Fushi, absorbed its vessel, and become the success of life; the goal of why it created. Good thing that those entity still had the core, like Fushi's orb, but more like a flesh. So Fushi at Marchi can finished it off, and be relieved about that.

Preserving the world by letting the orb to goofing around, learn, and help, seems an alright reason. Still, there's sure to be more question for The Maker explanation. However, pretty sure he will explain more, as time goes by and the meeting with Fushi return, later.

For now, lets continue Fushi growth as the new encounter happening in the new arc. Welcome, the masked boy, Gugu.

Fushi is just the cutest!!

Most of the characters sound just as I'd imagined them to sound. Some even sound better! (Like Fushi)

Gugu has appeared! I wonder how he'll sound like. I always pictured him sounding like Alphonse Elric. I hope he doesn't, though! lol

The villains have also appeared. It seems weak right now. Can't believe how much trouble they'll end up causing!

Does Hayase even stand a chance against Fushi now? He has progress so quickly this episode. I hope Hayase get some sort of upgrade, from higher power, kind of like this weird plant entity being introduced this episode. I thought Fushi was going to be the only supernatural being in this world. Seeing March in combat was awesome!

Great Episode , loved the way Fushi spoke, building his words and in his own pace and accent. And the creator finally appeared, had been a fan of his voice from start. Fight scene was good, creator helping Fushi win.
But still pacing felt kind of rushed.

I will share my thoughts about this episode:
The whole drama and action scene was completely worthless because we know that he have no risks here. The concept of something wanting to rob her past senses is an useless antagonism that will probably makes this whole ride something even more awful
The grandma is a good teacher, not like that useless March, she should have learnt something from her.

So this episode was a 2/10 since we didnt have the only good quality of this show that is Parona's good looks. Mediocre. If the next arc doesnt consider the strength of having a ship between Fushi and other character, I'm going to 100% lose my hope in this show

This was a good character development episode for Fushi, he's finally learning to speak and write.
Literacy, truly a gift.

Fushi is like his own pokemon now, with the transformations, and fights.

Also Fushi is actually so endearing to watch, he's like a little kid learning, so precious.

WE FINALLY HAVE OUR BOY GUGU LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO

No, we never learn about them.

But the theory is pretty simple, they all died in a snow storm to frostbite and hypothermia, and the last person buried them all and put the cross on the stone.

Was the old woman going delirious with hunger and thirst and attacking Fushi in desperation supposed to be funny? It felt like the show was treating it as comedy, but it was honestly just annoying and felt like mere padding. That aside, the focus on Fushi's development here was welcome, as it starts to learn things about the world around it and begins to learn how to speak and write (well, I say begins, but it's able to speak more or less fluently now, if with a slightly odd voice as if the act of speaking is unnatural to it).

I suppose it's only natural that the next step would be to introduce a supernatural enemy of some sort to provide Fushi something resembling a challenge, as no mortal being can possibly come close to posing a threat to it. Also interesting that Fushi's creator actually stepped into the fray, if only for a moment; I'd assumed he was merely going to be an observer, but perhaps it's not quite so simple now that other forces are afoot. Still, the fight didn't really have the full intensity it was going for, with the enemy having a blatant video game weakness which was ultimately easy for Fushi to exploit and regain everything with.

Now, how's this new kid in the mask gonna die, as that's obviously what he's here for like Joann and March before him/her?

Great episode.

It's fantastic to watch Fushi slowly learn language and become more proficient at talking. I'm curious when he'll go from learner to becoming fluent.

The fight with that other monster was pretty crazy, we got to see the creator too and he mention what his and Fushi's duty to the world his. He said the other monster was sent to interfere with him but who was the other monster sent by?

Should be interesting to see this next arc and Fushi growing with other people.

Fantastic episode! Been waiting for this since I read it like a week ago lmao and now I am almost caught up with the manga. We finally hear Fushi speak in sentences even if it's broken, Fushi's growth is always a sight to see. I don't know how Pioran is able to eat those fruits with those remaining teeth lmao. Fushi throwing fruits at Pioran reminded me of March throwing fruits at Fushi. That mid episode title card is pain.

God Tsuda is here and Gugu. That fight was really good, just imagining having the vessels get taken away and Fushi forgetting them is really sad. Really looking forward to the next episode.

I imagined that Fushi was created by some kind of God, but I thought it was THE GOD, like the one who created the world, but it seems, at least to me, that we may have other Gods, what I imagined watching this episode is that there are several gods, that are fighting each other, but for that they create some kind of creatures to fight for them, maybe it’s too crazy, but this episode opened many doors, everything is possible now.
