| Hype? The hype was never there, even when the anime came out. The setting was found to be quite "fresh" but nothing more. Among other things, season 1 was also quite weak except for 3-4 glossy moments, it was empty and the humor stayed above the snoring. The fact is, the first 4 episodes were a subtle introduction and could appeal to me, everything else was weak and if the sequel doesn't scratch the curve, it's a title that is not worth mentioning. |

| Well, if anime stupidos, I mean studios, are finally interested in giving it a second season, then I assume their market research has indicated interest in the show is at an all time low. Because you know how studios like to wait until nobody gives a crap anymore, before they feel it’s the right time to pump it out. After all, they don’t want to make TOO much money off of merchandising, licensing, and other related sales. |

| I’m kind of curious of how this season will turn out, but I’m hoping the animators aren’t super biased for Chiho like the first season animators were. Honestly the first season was quite a disservice to Emi and her character. I remember when I watched the first season I kept comparing it to the manga version and how the Emi in the manga was wayyyyy better than anime Emi, so here’s hoping they actually do her more proper. |
| I mean on one hand I’m glad it’s getting another season. However, I’m not as hyped as I would’ve been if it had a good ending. The same reason why I wasn’t really excited when Quintessential Quintuplets S2 was announced. Oh well, let’s see if this goes a different path. What this news has done for me though is that it makes me believe that Classroom of the Elite may get another season. |
