| After first reading the question, the character that came to mind was Shinpachi from Gintama. But, after thinking about it some more, it is still, 100%, undoubtedly Shinpachi from Gintama. I genuinely can not withstand this guy. I will say that I consider Gintoki to also being annoying MOST OF THE TIME, however, for me, Shinpachi is annoying all the damn time. I detest his character design, and I absolutely can not stand his persona in the show. Every damn line he has in the show is just him shouting his head off. I'm not even kidding when I say that I am almost 100% certain that there isn't a single line in the entire show where Shinpachi isn't shouting his head off. He's so one-dimensional; as every single scene he's in, he's exactly the same, no matter what the circumstances are. |
| I tend to dislike most battle shounen, harem and isekai protagonists (negative bonus points if they are overly perverted), cause most of them are the same with a minimal twist and quite boring. Rudeus from Mushoku Tensei would be the most recent example (Keyaru from Redo is honestly not even an actual character imo, that's how crappy he is). But I also can't stand Kazuya from Gosick. He is neither dense nor a creep, but so increadibly annoying that I can't watch more than one episode of Gosick per day - he's probably my least favorite male character over all :x |
