| Discuss: "How much character design affect your opinion on a character?" For me, it's hard to really gauge, but maybe initially, 1% ~ 5% Alright, scratch that. As of late, I've been paying more attention to character design when looking for anime. I want more bishounen :") Rather, it's more like this: if the character I like happen to have beautiful design, I'll like that character so SO SO much more than if they have plain or unattractive design. One of my most favorite is pale colored hair, especially white. I automatically will pay more attention to characters that have that hair color. But whether I'll like that character or not will entirely depends on their other aspects (such as personality/trait, relevancy to story, character dynamic with other characters, perception, development, background, etc) And here is my selection of white/silver haired beauty! Character design affects my opinion on a character heavily,because i care a lot about a character looking distinct while at the same appealing for me.A character design that stands out to me is always a character that i will be on the look out for,because it´s something that I appreciate when I watch a show.Probably why I enjoy animes with large casts,because those shows have a really wide array of looks to choose from. Of course,I couldn't miss the one and only Inuyasha!  His brother Sesshoumaru is pretty cool too. ;)  Mary Kozakura from Mekakucity actors is also pretty beautiful. |

| Character design is pretty important to me because it's a lot more 'immediate' than a character's personality. Like, I can deal with a character having an annoying personality because at least they're nice to look at. Doesn't quite work for me the other way around. That said, white/silver hair isn't really my favourite, mainly because it just so happens to be a really common hair colour used for characters I don't like.
