| Ishigami is the most interesting character in the series. I think I'm gonna watch season 2 purely because of his existence. Also, the narrator. That guy's lines are hilarious. |

| It's so hard for me to choose honestly. Kaguya is #1 for me but not by a significang margin. I'm not exaggerating when I say I love almost every single character. Even the Mass Media duo is underrated. Looking forward to Iino in this adaption as well as the rest of the cast again. Anime Chika > Manga Chika. |

Yes indeed, and actually her French was decently pronounced compared to the horrible English we hear all the time, like in the half-episode English dialogue of Subete ga F ni naru (one of the two characters is supposed to be a native speaker, and the other one is an Academic...). Seriously, Japanese do learn English in school, and notwithstanding the accent, this way to pronounce each word using the same slow and monotonic rhythm is hard to understand (worse than kids trying to read texts at school). I have just re-watched the scene and all characters speak better French than English while they probably never learned in school; quite a performance! The best one is the first girl who speaks to Kaguya at the party, and Kaguya comes next. By the way, they make France look better than it is; there is no student council in high school (seitokai). Too bad, Seitokai Yakuindomo would become true. |

I know what you mean though, there are moments of her's that shine. I liked the volleyball training montage, for instance. But you're right, I definitely neglected to consider her somewhat egocentric personality hehe |

| I have to say Ishigami, but Kaguya and Iino are close second and third place. Still, this is one of those few romcoms where you can't help loving all characters, even support characters that almost never appear like Shirogane's father and sister, and the trio of Tsubasa, Nagisa and Maki (who makes me feel so bad for her most of the time) |
