| 9/50, though three in the 50-100 were definitely in the top 50 when I watched them. On the whole they haven't been much better or worse than the average anime I've seen, though I have a big case of hit or miss with them rather than finding many of them mediocre. |

| Hmm, out of all that are listed, I've dedicated a significant amount of time (as in more than three episodes) to watching nine of the shows in the top 50 tv series. I've also started and/or dropped another five shows. However, I've also watched earlier seasons (like Attack on Titan) or later adaptations (like Legend of the Galactic Heroes) of a number of the shows that are listed. I can also add another two anime films for the initial top 50 anime list. As for the top 50 shows according to popularity, I've spent a significant amount of time on 37 anime with an additional two for shows that I've only seen one episode of. |

I have intentions to watch a few more of them, but some of them just aren't my cup of tea genre wise, and I'm never gonna sit through like 800 episodes of One Piece, or tbh probably anything with more than 25 episodes unless it's something I watched throughout childhood as it was airing. |

It's deifnitely a big hurdle to overcome though, investing time in anime with an insane number of episodes. That was also the reason why I only started One Piece in 2012, thinking it'd be too much but I'm glad I did. Is watching a few episodes a week also out of the question? - Like 10 episodes per week maybe. |

Steins;Gate Kimi no Na wa Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu Koe no Katachi Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi Made in Abyss Cowboy Bebop Mononoke Hime Mushishi Zoku Shou 2nd Season Howl no Ugoku Shiro Mushishi Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki So 10-19 (12). There aren't too many more I'm really interested in seeing on it though, as I'm not into a number of the battle shounens, all the Gintama or Monogatari set of series, etc. |

D W-W&N π€ MAL is a far cry from being my main literature site, that's why I won't be doing mere single chapter updates anymore. Manga- aka Baka-Updates + 2 French ones are miles better and more thorough/complete + less restricting. The latter are perfectly suited for Manga/Light Novel/Books collectors such as myself. Less stressful/tiring this way. -g- |

| For a long time now I've always had 45+ out of the Top 50. Right now it's 45 I have completed and 1 I dropped. Usually the only titles I'm missing are the Kenshin OVA (might never get around to that since I read the manga so many times and can't stand Kenshin's voice in the anime) and a handful of recently aired or currently airing shows that I haven't gotten around to yet. Right now I'm missing Neverland (waiting for S2 before I pick it up), the Haikyuu OVA (very recent, probably gonna watch it after the current season finishes) and Vinland Saga (a friend irl wanted to simulwatch this so I'm waiting for that to happen). My scores are quite positive, except my 1/10 for Shigatsu which is my only dropped title from the top 50. That show is just offensive and about the worst take on handling psychological trauma that I've ever seen. It's a shame so many people are blinded by the cute girl and ignore the horrible underlying message, but I digress. All the other shows have scores of 7 or higher, with 9 of my 27 10/10s being in the top 50. A pretty good ratio if you ask me. Overall the top 50 are all very good representatives of their genres (except Shigatsu of course which is a terrible representative for character dramas) and a good starting place for anyone looking for something to watch, as long as they don't ignore their personal preferences in terms of genres and synopsis and pick up shows JUST because they are in the top 50. I have a very broad taste so to me all of them sound or sounded appealing, but for most people that's probably not the case since they have more narrow preferences. |
