| @Killaclown I don't hate reading manga. I have a few in manga list as well. I just prefer to read mangas with a good anime counterpart. But I'll try the Berserk manga after I've completed the 1997 anime. |

| Part of the appeal of Berserk is its rawness in showing things such as violence, sex, gore etc which the 1997 adaptation lacks and imo they don't have a good representation of the most important part of the story (which was done better in the 3rd trilogy 2010's movie). The world wasn't ready for Berserk on TV back on 1997 although the classic series got its merit, it's not a complete experience. The right way to experience Berserk is manga first, then the adaptations considering the huge difference in amount in quality and faithfulness between them. |
