In conclusion for me 2010 seams the best from the last ten. |

| I happened to look this up recently via my MALGraph stats and 2017 has the highest number of 9s and 10s on my list by a solid margin so I'd have to go with that. It was just a really impressive year both in terms of shows and sequels I had high expectations for (Rakugo S2, 3-gatsu S2, LWA, Thunderbolt S2, Uchouten Kazoku S2, Natsume seasons), pleasant surprises (Made in Abyss, Guru Guru, Shoujo Shuumatsu, Onihei, ACCA) and awesome movies (Lu over the Wall, Walk on Girl, Ishikawa Goemon) The funny thing is that if you look at the overall average of that year on my list, it evens out and isn't the highest one from the decade (but they are all very close). I guess that's what happens if you watch 100+ titles each year. So I'd rather go by how much top-tier anime there were than comparing average score and picking absed on a few 0.xx points difference. |
