| The Yugioh GX OP always made me cringe with its "Blink-182/Sum 41" style song. The whole "Get your game on" thing just sounded so lame, and this is coming from a dub fan, so trust me when I say it's lame. |

| I actually can't think of any dubbed songs that have done this, though I have not heard many dubbed song songs begin with outside the anime I've grown up with. I guess looking back, Freckles from Rurouni Kenshin tried to be too accurate to the original, and the high pitched singing doesn't really work in English unfortunately. |

| Nadia and the secret of blue water has an episode of songs at the end of a roughly 12 episode long run of utter garbage. I can only presume that it's awful subbed, I know it's awful dubbed and I couldn't sit through it again subbed or dubbed to confirm or compare *shudders*. Did I cringe? I didn't stop cringing..... |
| Modern dubs are usually pretty good since they don't even translate singing, but there are plenty from the 90s early 00s that were pretty awful. |
