| I didn't expect that we would actually start with the Blue right off the bat. Well, I'm still hyped for this tournament, they're my weak spot, even tho there are some weird faces among the participants. Also wonder who else got an invitation, maybe we get to the some former E10. Edit: There's still the possibility that we get to see the preparation for the Blue in form of flashbacks. |

| Right off the bat huh? The entrance for this arc is a bit underwhelming to say the least. Lack of build up or events that might hype me up for Blue maybe? Dunno Anyways, let's see how things will pan out this time |

| I feel like the mangaka's trying to get through this arc as fast as possible; he probably knows how much Asahi has upset all the fans (if only through weekly rankings). Guy's been doing everything in his power to keep our Asahi exposure to a minimum, as well as trying to recapture the moments and sensations that people love the most about the series, so he can make it through to either the finale or a better story arc than this one. |

| Quite the venue for the competition. Man those noirs really look less than cooks but more like a group of mercs. But to think that Asahi gets a free pass until the third gate though. Guess his skills really are held in high regard by the WGO. But looking forward to seeing how this arc proceeds though. |

| I really don't like where this is going.. With all of this sudden rush in the story, i just lost the hype for Blue to be honest, they just threw Blue out of nowhere into the plot and in a pretty underwhelming context. Using a tournament like Blue as a simple stepping stone for Souma to get revenge on Asahi because he stole Erina for himself and wants to marry her? A nobody who just came into the story just recently is pulling all of the strings now and even beat Souma's father in a matter of just 1 single page in the manga? They could've just used the usual pacing and possibly develop Asahi's character in a slow and steady way, not like a bolt of lightning, since he is like the most important "villain" in action right now. Where will i find the thrill in all of this now? As an absolute fan of SNS i think that i just felt the need to criticize the manga's direction a bit.. I wonder what happened to the author, did he lose his ambitions for continuing this? |
