I think mine would have to be the original Dragon Ball; it has everything for me, comedy, action, adventure, and a bit of mystery.

What would your last anime ever be and why?

Elfen Lied or Hidamari Sketch
bacause everytime i rewatch an episode i find something new.
But i would stick with Hidamari cuz it's a longer anime and less painful to look at xD

Super tough question.

I’m assuming I can still rewatch stuff I’ve already seen.

I think I’d take a big risk and try Maison Ikkoku. I have a gut feeling that I’ll really like the series, and the only other time I’ve had a gut feeling like that prior to watching a series was Crest of the Stars— which ended up becoming my favorite anime franchise to date.

I think there’s also a possibility I could end up hating Maison Ikkoku, but if we’re talking “the last one” I’d have to bet on my gut.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

I partly got into anime because of space operas and mecha/robot shows. I might as well end with one.

If I can rewatch - then gintama
If I cant - One piece because it's endless.

Probably Ashita no Joe as that has been on my radar for some time and it's a classic. It's also a decent length.

I haven't seen One Piece. If it's my last one ever i'd want it to be that, since it's long.

Maybe the Jojo's Bizzare Adventure series, it might not be my favorite anime but in terms of longevity, future content and my enjoyment it seems like a solid choice. I'd consider Monogatari too but I don't know how much longer it will continue for and I'm not that big of a re-watcher.

hunter x hunter. I vehementely loved this fucking anime, and I remember legitemately thinking after finishing it that I'd want, when I die, to go into another world where the storyline is finished.(I don't know if I would enjoy it THAT much if I watched it now, but I'm sure I'd still rate it 10/10)

as for mangas it would be berserk, vagabond OR vinland saga.

8/10 is a very good score from me ( i have only rated 16 shows 8/10 or higher).
But I simply didn't think it was as good as season 1 .

I'd probably give Gintama a try since some episodes are parodies of other animes if I'm not wrong.

It's better this way.
A little lonelier,
but better.

The logical answer is to watch a long series so Sailor moon or Sakura. Those are the first I have watched. But the anime that made me fall in love with anime is Lovely complex. I have watched it 5 times already and it is still funny, cute and emotional.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

For every person who loves it here, there's another person who hates it. It's made me all the more interested. I'm not a fan of mecha so maybe this is the one that I will enjoy.

Excluding possibility of rewatching .... I'd go with Naruto.

To me it's among my unfinished shows the perfect one to "say goodbye" or to give a culmination to my "anime watching career". Because it's among the most popular shows worldwide, because it's relevant to pop culture, because it's a show to get engaged with characters and because I'm convinced it's a show I'll end up loving no matter the amount of fillers or power-ups seen in Shippudden, so it's a safe bet.

I've been postponing its completion for so long for a reason.

It would be Saga of Tanya the Evil or Akuma No Riddle. Both these anime has touch me in some way. Tanya has touch me in her struggle. Everything is stacked up against her and she still faces it. Akuma No Riddle touched me by the heart in it. The 1st episode starts with a riddle, The world is Full of.. Tokaku answers the riddle and say evil, but Haru teaches her that the world is full of forgiveness.
