| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Great way to end to this Episode II, the raid of the castle was pretty intense, the deaths were brutal, but not really explicit in a gore way, which was great. I was still shocked when Goemon killed one of those guys back in the car chase instead of slicing the cars in the middle or something though. Also eyes being targeted are always unpleasant to see, but well, it was a kill or be killed situation for our thieves. And in the end Lupin managed to outplay Albert, their dynamic working together was great, I really liked this arc, I just missed Fujiko. And now to a red jacket episode! |

| Great episode! I'm glad we had tons of great action moments. It's funny, during the beginning episode. I was wondering why they don't do brutal kills on Lupin TV series since the movies are pretty violent and actual show decapitation(Goemon Movie). Then suddenly blood starts to splat everywhere. The henchmen in the driving scene and the mask guy got Iron Maiden (RIP). Even the crazy Girl Chlo got decapitated and the kid Araignée got sprung above by Albert. Nobody is safe and I love it! Even more crazy how both Albert and Lupin are always trying to outwit each other. I take it back. Albert is definitely worth the "Lupin" name, but it seems he has other goals in mind. Guess this ends the Albert Arc. Now onto the new one! Perfect timing with Fujiko since I was beginning to miss her!! |
