| There were only two non sequels this season that seemed interesting in golden kamuy and devils line. They've been ok. I might check out hinamatsuri, but 2018 has seemed kinda meh so far. There are a few interesting ones coming this summer that have caught my eye though |
| Golden Kamuy - for storytelling and characters Megalo Box - close second, for art and action Piano no Mori - for its story and Kai & Amamiya Tada-kun - despite it being a run of the mill romcom, its still really good, also, bonus points for the OP I am watching a few more non-sequels but they dont really stand out to me (MSS, Caligula, Comic Girls, etc) |

| 1. UmaMusu 2. Comiga 3. Wotakoi Rest is really close and will probably change a lot, I'd say Gegege and GGO for now. This season has more good shows than usual for me, happy about that. The series that didn't live up to my expectations this season were Golden Kamuy and Megalobox. |

| 1) Hinamatsuri (too many people are not watching it tbh) - This might become Studio feel's best anime yet right next to Oregairu. It makes you laugh and then gives you a shit load of feels. Sasuga Studio feel. 2) Megalo Box - An anime made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ashita no Joe, one of the best manga/anime. The soundtrack is crazy good and the art style has that old feel to it. 3) Golden Kamuy - Great story with really good characters and soundtrack. Also a Ainu get's a main role for the first time in anime history. 4) Piano no Mori - I WAS going to watch the movie but then the TV anime got announced. So far so good. 5) Uma Musume - Thank you Japan for providing me another fetish. 5) SAO Alternative GGO - This anime is already better than the main series. No Kirito = A better SAO anime.Who knew eh? |

| Wotakoi for legit couple and unique romcom. Hinamatsuri for laughs and hilarious characters. Golden kamuy for seinen tag and interesting story. Sao aggo for P chan and lolis Tadakoi for cliche romcom. |

| I'll start out with the best. Megalo Box is easily one of the best anime this season. It oozes with a cool and confident style in art design, animation, and ost that you rarely find outside of the occasional Shinichiro Watanabe production. The chacacters are honestly a bit cliche but it works well with that style and the story Megalo Box presents. And hell that could still be remedied with the last half of the show. Hinamatsuri is also one of the best anime from this season. Not only is it really funny, it also has a lot of emotional weight behind it. Deadpan characters don't usually work for me, but the comedic timing with Hina is just so good. SAO: GGO has been quite fun and dare I say... good. It has its share of incredibly dumb moments but the battles are fun to watch and it even has some endearing character moments. Persona 5 has well been exactly as I expected, aside from some areas in art design though those are slowly being fixed (ex. the all out attacks and OP). Was not expecting this to match the game in any way and it has certainly lived up to that. I honestly can't say it's a bad adaptation per say because when you're adapting a 120 hour game then pacing issues are gonna come up. |

| I am not following that much anime this season, so I'll list just three. 1- Comic Girls (I consider CC as a spiritual successor to Sore ga Seiyuu. Same style of comedy and character drama with moe aesthetic) 2- Hisone to Maso-tan (Kiznaiver but better, great OST) 3- Darling in The FranXX |

Fumikiri Jikan The first four are pretty much consolidated at this point, the fifth has some degree of uncertainty due to being short and conclusive stories but it has a pretty solid track record. WotaKoi is a potential contender for this top5 but it has quite subpar production values and has to compete with that disadvantage. |
| - Hinamatsuri all the episode is good so far, the animation is superb, every character also fun to watch - Golden Kamuy Asirpa-san is cute, the animation is pretty good, not to amazing for an action anime, the action on the other hand, pretty wild - Comic Girls character is cute, animation is good too, Kaos-chan is good, everyhing’s good. but i put it on-hold though. - Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii i dunno, i just need a rom-com to ease the tension perhaps, pretty good. - i don’t have any number 5... |

| Here’s my order: 5. Golden Kamuy 4. Megalo Box 3. Hisone to Maso-tan 2. Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii 1. Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These - Kaikou I was really pleasantly surprised by the humour in Wotakoi and at this point my first three spots are pretty much settled. To me this season’s been better than average so far in terms of both sequels (Steins;Gate 0) and non sequels. |

| Tada-kun just makes me smile Wotakoi is pretty enjoyable Megalo Box started off pretty great but is getting less and less enjoyable The others are either sequels, mediocre or shows I droped already. |

Gurazeni More like a workplace anime, also why nobody is watching it 4. Wotakoi Haven't caught up yet. It feels like TV drama comedy, but it is good nonetheless. 5.
