Crunchyroll since it has lots of anime and it's free, the only issue is ads, but adblockers are a few clicks away so there you go.

OtakuStream, Kissanime, Animeram

Pretty much any streaming site that's not a paid subscription.

Whatever you choose, don't pick netflex.

Their streaming is the worst for anyone who wants to take screenshot during the show.

The only reason I still use CR is because of their app support.

You haven't seen that much anime though.

I would rec Crunchyroll, but you live in Australia. So I don't know.

It is a free streaming service that is also legal. It only has 10 anime on there, but it is completely legal.

To me, Crunchyroll is very worth it. But I personally use VRV which combos Funimation and Crunchyroll and has a lot of other stuff too. I know I watch a lot of documentaries on curiosity stream.

If you live in the USA, VRV is a great deal. But, if you don't, VRV isn't available to you. They are preparing to spread it to latin america.

I hope it becomes a thing for every country. But rights are tough.

Crunchyroll USA has over 1000 anime.

I just said no. It is only in the USA. It is a Crunchyroll offshoot.

Crunchyroll is pretty good if you are a US customer. Animelab is run by Madman Entertainment (Australia) so I don't know about that one, but it's one of Australia's bigest anime licensing companies so it's probably got a decent enough catalog.

Australian Crunchyroll is pretty bad so i'd imagine Animelab would have more and better variety. Anyways as someone else mentioned Nyaa.si is the way to go.

None of you answered the question that OP posted here.

Anyway to answer that as a fellow Australian, I would prefer both with AnimeLab (which is our streaming service provided by Madman) with the *not present* shows like K-On or Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. But if you want to see the most of the current airing shows, properly go to Crunchyroll on that front as AnimeLab is limited in terms of new shows as they only have 10 compared to 53 (yes I did count but most of them aren't the best choice).

For me I preferred AnimeLab as it has a better streaming service compared to Crunchyroll. But with Crunchyroll having more options, its your choice on what streaming platform you go for that is LEGAL to our country.

Crunchyroll, even though you won't get every show possible because of region restrictions. A VPN might help though.

I wouldn't suggest Animelab.

Because it's an Australian-based streaming service, older series that haven't been released onto Blu-ray are sourced from PAL DVD's. Anime is made for mostly NTSC format. At least back in the day it was. (Not the case with Blu-ray/HD anymore.)

So basically what this means is that you'll see frame blending when watching older series that haven't been sourced to HD format. To give you an example it's like ghosting of each previous frame. It looks really ugly imo and you never get used to it. I've heard that PAL actually speeds up the framerate. So in reality you're not watching it at the normal speed it was supposed to be viewed as.

Just my opinion though, it may not bother you.

I don't know what animelab is so I'm just going to assume on that alone that crunchyroll is superior. I personally use crunchyroll, netflix, amazon, and hulu so there isn't much I have to pirate. But when I do, masterani.me is the place to be.

Depends on where you are. Crunchyroll is great in the US and has tons of things, but not so much if you are elsewhere. I probably be region locked out of AnimeLab, it's Australian and Australians will probably be region locked out of a lot series US Crunchyroll viewers can access but they can't in their region.

Adblockers won't save you from having to watch anime in low 480p quality, which is what you're stuck with if you're using the free CR version.
