| from what i recall, this is a comedy series that makes fun of anything and everything. it's one of those comedies aimed straight towards the Japanese audience, which means people like us may not necessarily "get" the jokes. the author also makes fun of the readers themselves. one could say it's gintama to the 11th (for those who consider gintama a prime comedy series) |

You would have to posses either to understand some of the humour: a) Understanding of the reality and aspekts of the industry. b) Long-running involvement with pop-culture worldwide, mostly Japanese and American however. c) Have a knack for absurd humour (the best kind of humour). Without either of the mentioned you will find yourself lost while following the pictures on the screen. |
