| People being salty about these cheap popularity contests is the only good thing about them.Obviously that anime called Boku no Hero being n.2 is no surprise considering how popular the season 2 was and at that time it was still airing. Honestly I don't see the appeal of these top X lists they are utterly pointless and has no relevance for ones personal taste.Just accept that it's all determined by anime popularity and nothing more.An anime can have average animation at best and still earn the n1 spot as the best animation of the year. |

More laughint that Yuri on Ice is above Neon Genesis but Neon Genesis is above Madoka. And when I watched Yuri on Ice this year... And he got an animation award for it. >.> But you should know he was an animator on Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex.... and Gurren Laggan. Character designer for His and Her circumstances... and he was the director of animation much like he was for Yuri on Ice for FLCL. And... guess who could tell it was him from episode 1 because there was a "bounce" that is too iconic to Gainax? me. I knew it was either him or Anno. I noticed since they worked on RE: Cutey Honey together, Tadashi was A+. But Yuri on Ice was the first time I think I really really noticed a Gainax animator like that without it being Gainax.... it was weird... And yeah... I mean I started knowing his name around Parasyte because that is about the time I started looking at the credits in anime... ( he did character designs in that one) I wonder if other people felt the same feeling when watching an anime.... |
