| This time, I was busy over the holidays so I finished rather late but I'm glad that the deadline made it possible to find the chocolate in the first place. What I liked about this year was that not many anime were used, as opposed to the previous events. A lot of new places were used so Kineta's worries were unnecessary ^^ What I also liked about this year was that the hints were worded in a way that it helped if you had watched the anime while still being "googleable" (actually, DuckDuckGo was much more useful). I do think that I liked last year's easter hunt just a tad more but that might just be me remembering it wrong. All in all, I enjoyed it and I hope there will be another one next year. Something I did notice though was that there was much more direct help in the thread than in the past years and while I do agree that it's no fun to not being able to continue, I think users should be encouraged to give more vague hints, at least in public. As I've said before, I overall did enjoy the challenge but there are some eggs/hints I want to highlight: Hint #5 leading to Aqua: I think this one was difficult to google, because I didn't know what to search for. "goddess loving nature anime" or "goddess nature beauty anime" shows me a lot of beautiful fanart but not what I was looking for. Hint #7 leading to Zange: ... So... the idea was nice. Including videos is a nice touch and the overall concept was new. However, there are way too many paths one can research and I still don't know why we were supposed to skip to 5:38, other than that they show a church there. If it hadn't been for a hint in the thread to look for a character starting with a Z, I would have given up at this point because there is no way I'm going to check every role Hanazawa Kana has, especially when I don't know I'm looking for a nun. Moreover, when you google 5:38 by itself, it leads to the following passage from the bible: "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth", which coincidentally is the favourite quote of Code:Breaker's Rei Oogami. Hint #8 leading to Portrayer Phantasos: I really liked this very creative hint! I was thinking about Shakugan no Shana first with Gods of Creation and stuff but after some research this was relatively easy to find. Eggs #18 and #19: These might have been two of the most difficult eggs to find in easter hunt history. If I hadn't been able to compare the two pages with a cached version in order to check whether the picture's URL was different, I would have assumed I was on the wrong page. Luckily, I know my tactics ^^ |

| Quite sad i didn't finish this egg hunt but i least i enjoy it :) I will avenge myself next year just you wait bwahahaha I would also like to thank the people that helped me in the egg hunt especially to @ivesnc (thanks buddy) even though i didn't finish it Is there an event like this in the next few months? Edit:I searched on what day easter will fall to next year.It turns out we will be celebrating both April Fools Day and Easter at the same time.Can't wait on what will happen at the next egg hunt :) |

| I had to give up since I didn't know a lot of the anime and I kept googeling and googeling, it was driving me insane. I will probably still try again next year, I lost some believe that I'm actually an Otaku.. I gave up when I couldn't find the egg in the pics of Rphiel. Or was I on the wrong character that Hanazawa acted? - oh well, I hope everybody enjoyed their holiday! |

Unfortunately I didn't finish the game. I was stuck in the middle and then I didn't have enough time. It was fun overall, but some small things bothered me a bit:
These are just my thoughts about some thing I didn't like that much. But as I said - It was fun and it seemed like everyone responsible for it put a lot of effort into it, so thanks for that :) And the Discord was a great help as well. There was always someone ready to help, |
| Aww.... 30th place... I seriously could've been higher, since I was working with @WakandaO2 and @JoaoMiranda. I just... felt exhausted and accomplished that I forgot to submit the form. I remembered like 10 minutes after, when I had already moved onto helping others. :) Here's the useless spreadsheet that I made, of clues, the location of eggs, and Google query used to find it. It even has screenshots. I thought I could be of use, but no. |
