I have an account here on MAL, and also on movies and books listing sites. I've scored an anime with 10, there was this brilliant movie I've scored with 10 as well, but there wasn't even a single book that deserves a 10 in my opinion. The highest I've ever rated a book is 8. Does it make this 8 equivalent of 10? No, because it wasn't even close to this anime and this movie I've rated with the perfect score. The first guy which said he's never rated anything with 10 sounds dumb, but I can understand people who haven't come across an anime deserving the perfect score. It's hard if there's some other thing that really blew you away. |

If youre using it that way than youre ofc right, I just wanted to point it out cause its a more popular approach than it should be. |

| Yuki Yuna is a Hero, back in 2015. I watched the first episode, put it on hold for a few days and came back to finish in one night. After the last episode I felt like I had just experienced the best high of my life, ran to MAL and rated it a 10. |
