| Dunno how much of this is bait but this salted my apples too much to ignore. There's nothing wrong with enjoying the female form but sexual attraction ≠ objectification. You can gaze at women as much as you want but women have the right to feel uncomfortable because of it too. (Obviously the same also goes the other way around.) Objectification often means yelling obscenities at strangers in the streets, and that would make pretty much anyone uncomfortable am I not correct? And in movies and shows or whatever, having fan service scenes is not imminently wrong but people have the right to complain if they don't want unneeded nudity scenes or whatever in the movie/show. When it comes to anime, there are so many genres that people should really just move past the sexual shows if they don't like sexual content. I don't think people go seeking sexual tv-shows just to watch and complain about them, they just change the channel and watch something they like instead. There's no reason to look for sexual shows just to complain about them tbh, every show has its fans and that fact won't be changed. |
