Kikyo and Kagome wind up trapped in a demon that looks like a cave that devours the spiritual energy of priestesses. Only by working together by using Kikyo's knowledge and experience with Kagome's latent potential will the two women be able to escape.

(beginning of ep) Yep, just as I though i really dislike that "Sit necklace" thing, It's not like that is needed anymore and it just keep InuYasha in angry mood so he never gets opportunity to say "I'm sorry, Kagome."

As for episode sub-story , i really did expect InuYasha to come at last moment as usually, but Kagome showed that she can already take care of herself too. That said, I would still prefer cliché "saved by InuYasha at crucial moment" hehe

The Kagome shown he can fend for herself.
I like Kikyo.
Sometimes leave pride aside and apologize is the best option.
Good episode.

I really like this episode alot. It's way better than the last two episodes with Jaken and Kirara respectively.

I must say, there are quite a wide variety of demons in the Inuyasha universe. I was surprised to find a demon that feeds specifically on female priestesses.

I love the interactions between Kagome and Kikyo. That triple jewel shard arrow was awesome. Why doesn't Kagome use the power of the shards more often? She could easily destroy Naraku with that kind of power.

This was a great Kagome and Kikyo episode! I didn't like Kikyo at all before this episode, but maybe she's not so bad...She's definitely better now then she was. Hope it stays that way! But Kagome told Kikyo she would give the Jewel Shard back and then she kept it xD Or did Kikyo indirectly give it to her? Hmm...Cute InuYasha/Kagome moment at the end, too! ^_^

Kagome and Kikyo made a nice duo. They have completely contrasting personality. I hope we see more of the two fighting side-by-side.

I kinda laughed that Kikyo fell for such an obvious trap. A child crying and calling for help in such a weird scenery? Yeah, sure.

Its her nature to do so, before she died, she was considered a compassionate women even before meeting Inuyasha. Honestly for people who have only watch the anime at this point but not anything further, its hard to grasp why Inuyasha was so infatuated with her. I'm glad they had the special "filler" duo episode later on. Very glad.

This was a very good episode. The premise was very interesting and the climactic battle was excellently well-done, especially the triumphant orchestral version of the sad theme.

Maybe a weird way of thinking, but I wonder how such an demon comes into existence, being the size of a mountain

When Kagome talks to Kikyo after immediately finding herself in a cave, my heart sank a little.. I loved this episode.

Kagome gets upset over Inuyasha for not liking her cooking but her love still is transcending..

I honestly despise Kikyo for multiple of reasons, but especially because she won't stop jeopardizing Kagome's relationship with Inuyasha. Now that I said that, I'll say that this episode was really nice! I'm glad that she got to know Kagome better and that she's really, a nice girl and person as a whole. Now bye Kikyo, stay away from your ex!

At the end, does anyone think Inuyasha knew that Kagome was with Kikyo? He has a sensitive nose and he didn’t question about where Kagome was. When she tried to say something, he didn’t respond

I like Kagome and kikyo's relationship. If it wasn't for inuyasha, they would be best friends.

Being stuck in a deadly cave with your rival in love who once tried to kill you... yikes. That being said this episode was very different from what I expected and it was pretty good. Didn't really feel like a filler except Kikyo acting very friendly towards Kagome. Maybe it's because she thought she was really going to die this time. Wonder how the combined Shikon will come into play in canon episodes. Probably not a big deal.
