| Nonstop censoring with that god-awful bleeping sound, and Shinpachi going on and on and on and on - two of my least favourite things about Gintama bundled into one episode, safe to say I didn't enjoy this one as much! |

| accidentally gave this episode 5 rate, godamn this was really boring the beeping was annoying and so was shinpachi also the jokes and references I did not understand at all even for a filler that was bad. the after-credits scene was cool though |

| This episode was a miss but it's understandable since this is made for Japanese people after all. This is the first time I felt like Shinpachi was actually annoying though |

| Boring episode, but the problem was Shinpachi yelling every 2 seconds. It becomes annoying very fast. Seems like next episode might compensate for this one. Those facial expressions at the beginning already made me laugh. |

| they’ve brought it up several times now (rewatching the series has made it even more apparent), so i guess gintoki x hijikata doujinshi is just a gintama-universe fact of life. that’s incredibly funny, canon influencing fandom and then fandom influencing canon right back. |
