Do you ever watch anime together with someone?

I only have 1 friend who's really an otaku but we don't hang out much besides school. I don't have that many friends and my best friend doesn't really care much about anime, so I usually watch anime alone. I'm just curious to know if there is anyone who has friends or family members who watch anime with you. I would love to have a friend who would come over at my place or I would go to his/her place and watch anime together and then discuss the episode for fun.

Help the industry and buy Blu-rays and DVD's.
Noragami is the best anime ever.

Not really... I have always watched anime when I'm alone. Anyways, it would be weird if I were watching an anime with someone else and then out of a sudden there's a freaking panty shot all over the screen. Just nope lol

weetI guess, as long as I have life, all I can do is fight with all my might.

I've watched Steins;Gate and Mirai Nikki with my brother. I also watch several anime with a long-distance friend. We discuss the anime while we watch on Steam lol. He got me to watch several anime I probably wouldn't have watched alone, so it is nice to watch with someone once in a while.

I'm in a similar situation to you OP. Tbh I think that it'd be pretty awkward to watch anime with someone, well most anime anyway.

With my mom or dad sometimes, since they get in the mood to watch something like Ranma 1/2 or Inuyasha randomly.

But with friends, nah. All they ever watch is Shoujo, and I'm not that big of a fan of it.

I have no one to watch with.
Oh well, watching it with others could be a distraction. I need to concentrate when watching my otaku pandering dribble.

I can see you

I usually watch animes alone. I'd love watching it with someone else who loves anime as much as I do, tho. Most of my friends aren't into animes. TT

No because I have no friends but if I ever make a friend on the internet who also watches anime it would be cool to video chat and watch anime together.

Nope, and I'm not sure I'd want to either.
I really don't think anyone I know would enjoy anime at all and my best friend only watches anime occasionally (and its not normally stuff I like). Maybe watching a Ghibli film with my niece and nephew would be nice but that's a totally different case.

I watch with my girlfriend whenever we eat at home, I watch with my brother whenever I see him, and I have about 4 friends that I watch with on occasion. I rarely watch anime by myself nowadays unless I'm watching something on my laptop while I do the dishes.

My friends and I will watch some series simultaneously, but we all have our own schedules so watching them as a group never really happens.

yeah, both online and offline. i didn't enjoy either experiences, because everyone just gets distracted, makes comments, or isn't really that interested in it.

i rather watch anime by myself, even tho i haven't really been watching anything lately.

I used to before with a friend but when we see each other it's mostly to play soccer or do something else that's not watching anime (he watches more than me but when he's at home). But the last two times another friend came to my house we watched some Higurashi episodes. Convinced him to watch it after he finished rewatching Naruto. I'd like to have someone I could watch anime with though.

I have done, a couple of times, but for the most part I don't have friends who like anime so I tend to watch alone.
I like watching some series by myself but it would be cool to watch with other people once in a while.

I almost always watch anime with my brother, sometimes with my mother too. There's also an anime club at uny and they have a showing every week so we go there sometimes.

I have plenty to talk about it, but only a handful for watching. Mostly because we marathon stuff when we watch, and you know, life happens.

Basically this, even though I've got a few friends that are also into anime, when we tried wathing it we got distracted or at least one of them didn't like it so we all prefer watching anime on our own and just discuss it next time we meet.

I find watching anime (and generally doing everything else) together with my girlfriend much more enjoyable than watching something on my own. We don't get to watch things together very often, or as much as I'd like to, as we currently live in two different cities.

My little sister, she's a WAY bigger otaku than me, she's often recommended anime to me, some I watched with her and I loved, but it's kind of annoying how she keeps recommending anime to me.

Ah, that's the dream... I'm a closet fan tho
My friends and family think anime is weird. The only exceptions would be my brother who has seen a few, but we don't really enjoy the same things and he'd definitely reveal my anime addiction to others. Also, I remember my friend once mentioned something about Attack on Titan and I was like !!???!!? but I pretended like I didn't know what she was talking about.
I know other people who watch anime, but they're a lil strange.

I've watched anime with my parents and brother, when I was younger. I don't know why but watching anime with other people feels a lil awkward... I watched a few eps FMAb with a friend tho. That was ok.

Yeah. Since last year I've been watching tons of anime with a friend. We talk on discord or teamspeak during the episode. I'd say it's more fun to watch it with other people.

No. Don't have anyone to watch it with. I did watch it with a friend, but just like one episode.

Would be awesome, definitely.

I've seen quite a bit of anime with my sister. Sometimes I see more of the mainstream stuff with my friends (none of which are really "anime-fans", btw), like One Punch Man, but they don't watch much else. Honestly most of the anime I watch with other people I've seen beforehand, mostly so I can filter out the shitshows. Though sometimes you have to watch a shitshow with someone else to make it entertaining, but especially if that person is new to anime I'd rather show them a series I like rather than take my chances on something new.
Signature is too edgy for me.

I actually have a friend I watched all of Free! with. She really enjoyed it.
We tried to watch Rurouni Kenshin with another friend and none of us liked it very much.
I mean, I could keep watching it but it didn't make a good first impression.

I think you'll meet someone soon who you can watch anime with. Anime freaks are everywhere.
