So, I've been wondering what people consider as an anime with good artwork, animations, graphics - you name it. Wait, I'm talking about the anime with THE BEST GRAPHICS...

P.S. Pls don't troll and come up with anime such as Love Hina or Boku no Pico ;w;

"Graphics"- Fate/Stay Night 2014 by Ufotable.
Animation- Redline movie.
Artwork- Thank Mayu for the answer, a lot of Shaft and especially Kyoani works, Kill la Kill too.

Overall the Redline movie is an animation marvel all the way through, if you want good fight scenes go watch Sword of the Stranger.

> People unironically claiming ufotable's fate series have good graphics when the show can't even keep the character designs right for longer than 3 seconds. Oh and have to hide the character animation behind a thousand flashy sfx effects to hide how shitty it looks.

If we are to be serious, most of makoto shinkai works focus on high fidelity visuals, KNK has some nice stuff, Monogatari franchise, most of Ikuhara works, ghost in shell franchise.

Depends on what you mean "graphics".

If we are talking cinematography - Monogatari takes the cake, as does Ikuhara's works.
If we are talking animation fidelity - KNK and makoto shinkai's works(5CM Per Second). Of course Redline is sort of the kind in terms of technical hand drawn animation.
If we are talking visual aesthetic - monogatari, Ghost in shell, Ikuhara's works(who are known for very unique and different scenery and architecture).

Well if we're talking movies I'd say Garden of words and 5 centimetres per second they both have brilliant art. A 25 episode series with Movie-standard art would be Nagi no Asukara (as an example) Fate/Zero (as mentioned by others) Has brilliant art as well. But there isn't really "Best graphics" although some graphics are jaw dropping. Tokyo Ghoul and Kyokai no Kanata both have pretty good art as well.

Kotonoha no Niwa : depiction of nature in general and that scene with the transparent umbrella had me drooling.

Saraiya Goyou : very unique and nice art - buildings were very well designed.

Mushishi series too. Landscapes and nature were awesome.

One Piece episodes have some of the worst art styles I've ever seen. Making one episode's animations look good certainly doesn't compensate for the 30 horrendous ones before it. The more recent movies did, however, look extremely good.

For now I'm gonna say One Punch Man and Kyoukai no Kanata.

the only big issue i had was the colour palette was too... dull and unsaturated. but i do like the earthly tones especially when the story was about winter.

Food wars anime art is pale compared to the manga tbh.
OT:- garden of words, ufotable's god eater(art only) and fate series, nagi no asukara, hibike euphonium(free flowing),even hyouka.

If I'd just been here a while earlier, I'd feel less like I was parroting everyone who says "Fate/Stay Night".
Seriously though, Archer's Noble Phantasm.
And Gilgamesh. And Caster. And Saber. And Assassin. And pretty much everything else since the beginning of the season.
Psycho-Pass and Attack on Titan aren't so bad either, but F/SN definitely wins out against them.
Nothing is here desu~

Uhm 5cm had, like, the most still frames ever. Apart from detailed background - nothing.

Anyway, the anime with the best graphics are K and Fate Zero and F/SN : UBW. K specializes elegance while Fate on the battlefield.

KNK varies from decent to great, but yeah, it does fit the mainstream definition of "graphics" the most.

Fate series from ufotable has the best Art for me. But ufotable isn't good at animating. I think they must colaborate with Production I.G or Madhouse for a beter animation. Production I.G has their own 'Good Art and Good Animation' anime such as Psycho-Pass or Attack on Titan. And Madhouse has their latest work One Punch Man which is really good for me...
Still waiting for Half-Life 3...
