| Terry Crews stated on his AMA thread (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit that his favorite anime ever was Ghost in the Shell and he believed that it was inspiring and beautiful. He says he has to see it once every couple months. It made me love him even more since he has so many famous comedic scenes in movies. For anyone who plays League of Legends, there are a bunch of pro video games players who absolutely love anime and have no shame with it which is not really suprising. Henrik Hansen aka Froggen who is arguably the best mid player in the world says he loves anime and his favorite anime is Angel Beats. He currently owns Angel Beats figurines which he showed on stream once. He almost always has an anime background for whenever he streams League of Legends. I also know Peter Peng aka Doublelift watches anime and has Karen from Nisemonogatari as his Twitter background page. He also has Asuna from SAO as his desktop wallpaper which I saw from the last time he streamed. |

| Robin Williams is an EVA fan?! I think I've died and gone to heaven. Madonna used clips from Perfect Blue in her Drowned World Tour concerts. Also there was a music video by her where the backing dancers were all wearing those creepy anime head things. Live action anime adaptations are sometimes good, and both Japan and Hollywood make their fair share of crappy ones. |
