| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This series has a lot of energy imo. More characters are introduced although I suppose they are like rivals. Hibiki saving people like usual...I wonder if this is going to be a recurring trend throughout the season. |

I like how Hibiki thought dancing was uncool and embarrassing at first, and how Breakin said it's the universe's most diverse and beautiful method of self-expression. Dancing dinosaur and duo of weird thieves - most certainly welcomed :) and kind of weird but we already have magical stones, so will fit it. Breakin is adorable and I liked his interactions (still won't be able to rewatch TCC without imagining Kumo spinning on a vacuum cleaner). Hibiki seems good guy, at least he knows what to do. He wasn't so keen on dancing which was a nice touch. Next episode comes most important thing - Kotone joins the fun. TCC had shown they know how to write interesting girl characters, her relationship with Hibiki is good already so just bring it on. Also would be nice to have her as strong character instead of being saved every week by MC. |

Haha yeah true, the Momiji/tengu stuff was weird, but I guess I mean this is full on fantasy versus TCC which had some fantasy elements, but mostly grounded in reality. And the antagonists is what I was mainly thinking about when I said weird, they're indeed different from this show's predecessor. I also agree that Breakin is adorable X) |
| A lot better than the first episode imo. Haha I liked the dancing dinosaur I like how Hibiki didn't automatically agree to help Breakin and that he thought about the time commitment required for being flash beat. I feel like in a lot of magical girl shows, the heroine blindly says: "I'll help you not matter the cost!" so I like this change of pace. "what does this pinky indicate?" lol xD looks like Kotone gets dance abilities next episode! |

| Okay episode. Enjoyed TCC more, but this makes a decent alternative. |
