| The fight is being dragged out, but... this episode still had some good moments. Anyway, the next episode has "Concludes" right in the title, so hopefully that will actually be the case, lol. Anyway, I'm glad the super saiyan god power got absorbed into Goku, as I really dislike how he looked with that red hair... Oh! and the new ending was great! hopefully we'll get a new opening soon, too. |

| Am I remembering wrong that none of the Sayans could fly earlier because they gave Goku their spirit, but Gohan ended up flying before Goku lost the SSG status? Maybe its because he was close to losing it? But a little odd that there's no mention. |

| How gods fight: Name calling, street brawling and headbutts. lol. The second half was good. I agree that the animation was much more reminiscent of DBZ than ever there. Looking forward to how they link up the multiverses. |

| Wasn’t expecting a new ED before the arc finished, but I guess this is the first episode of Fall 2015 so it makes sense (absolutely fucked up that it’s nearly 10 years ago lol), I’ll miss that first one as it had a very fresh vibe if that makes sense, but this 2nd one is really good too, it actually reminds me of two of the GT EDs thanks to the song itself and visuals with classic imagery. And man speaking of the arc finishing, it’s actually kinda criminal that the end of this Beerus stuff isn’t until the next episode, but this is where the first set of discs ends lol, I feel bad for anyone that can’t bulk buy the sets. And the fight took an interesting direction despite being pretty dragged out, so Goku lost the God form and is now just a Super Saiyan, but he’s still able to fight Beerus as his body got used to being a God, I’m not sure how much sense this makes but it is good to see Goku can still use the classic badass forms over just using the new ones which imo aren’t quite as cool looking. And since the next episode should be the end of the arc I’ll save reviewing it till then. |
