Since it's New Years and this question might deem fitting, do people do a self reflection of themselves once in a while, such as review the recent situations you've been put in and make an assessment on how well you handled yourself in these situations? Do you actively consider the good and bad things you've done and how you might do differently the next time? Do you review what you've learned throughout a certain recent time period and how these things can impact your life?

The only way to move is forward. No time to waste with regret and backtracking.

learning from one's past is just as important as learning to look ahead, not sure if people are serious on not reflecting the past

Some people just like to forget parts of their past and just move on. Sometimes it's better that way. Issues can be made a whole lot worse than they are if you sit down with yourself and analyse them. Not everyone is good at judging themselves accurately and making changes. Self reflection can be a very vicious cycle.

Introspection is my way of life. All those topics, and more, are what I think of on a daily basis. I find it hard to function in life if I can't understand myself and my actions

I think about most to all things I do, don't we all? I don't really get this topic, I can't not think about everything even if I wanted to.

yep... self reflection is key. going behind the thoughts.
I CELEBRATE myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.

I constantly look back at the past, I love it. However, I only focus on the positive things, not regrets.

Fuck now I have to actually reply.

I reflect on everything I do all the time.

I feel this is why I never regret any of my decisions and probably why I feel most of my decisions are better than most other peoples decisions.

I don't want to remember most of my past, especially not middle or high school.

I want to start fresh and anew in college.

I watch anime and read manga to avoid thinking about myself. Because whenever I do, I get depressed and my thoughts turn self-destructive.
