| Good episode, I liked the bit about Armstrong's sister being a bear and Ed being a rabbit. She seems like an interesting character. It's kind of funny how different Olivier and Alex are. Scar and Kimblee are going to have quite a duel on their hands eventually! |

| The story is always more interesting and looks in the plot also something that I almost forgot, like that big and unknown Homunculus, nice gags, do not ruin the atmosphere serious, drawings and excellent animations. That fool who made the alchemist crimson. ^^" |

| This is getting better and better. The fight, also it was short one between Scar and Kimblee was good. You could how much hate Scar had for him. I'm not sure how Kimblee will survive with such an injury. Omg Mira is hot as fuck. *.* She looks so different compared to her brother. Also a lot of scenes to laugh. I think this will get good in this Briggs fortress. |

| So they finally arrived to the North, eh? Fight in this train was epic, so was Ed and Al versus that guy from the North. Olivier seems to be harsh, as expected from a warrior commended as one of the greatest to see in the North. And she's from Armstrong family, so it's obvious she was gonna be a talented person. |
| Scar had his first fight against Kimblee after all this time and his overwhelming victory in addition to his opponent running away only made things even more frustrating for him. I'm pretty sure that he believed that he could've finished him off if only he reacted faster. The snowy town near Briggs makes me feel a bit melancholic for some reason. Major General Olivier is quite a gal. She's not as imposing as Izumi but she's pretty close from the looks of it. It's like Marcoh aged decades with that deformed face of his. At least Scar didn't melt all the way since he's the only one who can decipher his brother's research. |

| First half wasn't bad, but the second half was pretty idiotic. 1 - You would never build a major military base anywhere in the modern age (read post-1800) without making a decent road to it. Without a decent road, they'll never be able to let them know in time that they are under assault, and you'll never be able to resupply them properly if they do. 2 - Randomly attacking people you meet on patrol is not something you would do in the military when you are in your own country. It's fair to stop them and inspect them if they are this close to a military base unannounced, but the whole thing should have been resolved with "Who are you?" "Hey, here's my State Alchemist watch." 3 - Why is it that Edward Elric can't transform the other guys arm suddenly just because it isn't the metal he expected? He's been transforming random rocks left and right without taking time to determine what type of rock they are, not to mention the fact that iron/steel isn't all alike. You either need significant specificity or you don't; you can't have it both ways. 4 - General Armstrong is an idiot. Form your own opinion, but if you're too stupid to consider other people's appraisals when you know those people, you're too stupid to be a general. |

| Olivier's here and already such a badass and cold introduction as Ed and Al make it North, although looking suspicious still by the forces there. |
| Olivia is more serious than her brother, I like that. I don't like what they are doing with Scar, he went from "I will kill all State Alchemists" to "I will kill the dude who murdered my brother". |

| SCAR VS CRIMSON ALCHEMIST Edward brothers headed north. the dynamite ruthless brave woman is the older sister of Armstrong. Edward brothers near the border of Dracula they have a serious encounter with Armstrong older sister. |

| Olivier left pretty weak first impression. I'm at a loss here, where all the hype came from. Seems like a typical one-dimensional shounen character with a soul purpose to project 'badassness', and the whole scene looked pretty stupid if you ask me, with all its forced illogical flashiness. gaussian_ guy couple of posts upwards summed it pretty well. |
| For how much Kimblee wanted to find and fight Scar, he seemed awfully eager to make an escape once they started fighting |
| God what an epic episode, Kimblee finally encountered Scar and fought him on the train which was a great scene altogether. Man if it weren’t for his philosopher stone, Kimblee would’ve been dead right now with that lead pipe. Ed and Al reach the north and they finally encounter Armstrong’s sister Olivier. And my god she’s such a badass I mean Alex is already a badass as is but holy hell does the awesome streak just run in the family. Only there’s a slight difference with Olivier from Alex. That being Major Armstrong looks brutal and tough but is ultimately a very kindhearted gentle giant of a man whilst Olivier is a hardened woman whilst at the same time not as tall and burly as her brother which makes sense considering the fortress that she commands is in a snowy tundra. Next episode looks exciting and it looks like we are gonna see the next homunculi coming up. So things should be getting quite intense now. Once again this was an epic episode right there, and one of the best at the halfway mark for me. |
