| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Shinobu hasn't had that much to do since she lost interest in Ataru, so it's neat for her to get a whole episode like this, I suppose. More importantly, I rather admire the show for doing something as weird as changing genre to pulp detective story for an episode. But while I understand that Makoto used Shinobu, I don't really understand what crime he committed. |

| I was shipping Shinobu with Makoto throughout the whole episode, but sadly it did not end like a cinderella story :( |
| Can't believe Ataru got caught that easily at shinobu's house "Is this guy a moron or what?" Sir, mah man Ataru is a professional. I don't doubt his abilities to make the wrong decisions. |

| Ah, what a great episode. I love how the show has been switching genres, from spoofing slasher in episode 69 to playing suspense straight in this episode. The best part is the way the characters remain in character within the genre shifts. Lum is still Lum, Ataru is still Ataru lol Shinobu has a good head on her shoulders, would trust with my life. But since she has the same voice as Yuri from the WWWA, I guess this to be expected. Maokto planned to have Shinobu killed so he could pin the crime on the other siblings and remove them from the picture. And whe owuld have gotten away with it too if it weren't for those meddling kids Lum and Shinobu... |
