Don't reply unless you have something to contribute to the thread, this applies to quotechains, +1s, and simply one or two word replies like "lol" and "me too" and the likes. Most people will have noticed I've been enforcing this lately which may be an alien concept to many of you, but I will continue to do so (Sorry to disappoint you spammites who think I'll disappear after a few days) as the large amounts of spam and off-topic nonsense in GD, AD and News particularly is detrimental to the community. So you'd make life easier for everybody if you just stop the nonsense replies, and only post when you actually have something to contribute to a thread, or an on-topic reply to somebody you're quoting. Feel free to report people violating this, instead of participating in it yourself. In other words, hi. I'm one of the new mods. I'm happy to be a part of the team. ^^ |

Sometimes it's more than just a matter of rules. We fix/delete a lot of the annoying things that people do (not just general spam, but bots, broken topics, angell999...etc). We do a lot of things that you never think about or know about because you never see it. We do a lot that benefits the community, and you guys never even know. Just sayin'. A little love here and there would be nice. :) |

| Congratulations to all three! As long as they still make posts on GD and AD, I'm more than happy since they do make great posts. You scored a great team there. I just don't like it when I get to the Forum page and look at the right and find that the last posts were made by Asako, Boursk or kei-clone - it usually means 'Topic Locked.' (@_@) (>_<) Lately though, that seems to be what Asako's doing lately...(T_T). I want her making kick-ass comments not 'Topic Locked' actions. Baman, Asako and Kaiserpingvin for the life of GD and AD! |

I've only a tiny handful threads. ^^; I try to salvage them by deleting the nonsense, issuing requests to stay on topic, and attempting to provide incentive to post coherent on-topic replies -- it's worked in most cases so far. Things only get locked as a last resort when they're beyond redemption, which is rare if the OP and first few replies were decent. If people repeatedly ignore requests to stay on topic, there's not much that can be done, though. :( |
