Joe messes around too much in the ring but I guess it pays off when he gets serious. Almost won the match right there. Time to see how it ends up in the last episode.

Nice episode, liked the scene were everyone was sending Joe off to his match.

And Joes tactic with which he knocked Carlos down was pretty cool.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Loved seeing the interaction between Joe and Danpei at the start as well as Nishi, also liked the line from Yoko saying she's been fighting him from the start. The scene where Joe gets cheered both outside the shack and in the ring was so uplifting and gets you pumped for the fight.

I hope for Joe's victory but this anime is unpredictable I will give it 50% for both of them.

The climax of the show has been everything one could want so far.

Danpei admitted his many failures has a coach and how he's been a hindrance more often than not. But both know they've given each other a purpose and their relationship is strong.

Mammoth by his side, the people of the slums by his side, the first gag with the kids that actually made me laugh (when the kid headbutted the show instead of being hit with it to punish himself. After 77+ episodes, the subversion got me) and a moment where the Joe and Yoko finally drop the the barriers they've established with each other from day one and truly acknowledged one another.

The end feels near, but the fight is just starting.... Carlos v Joe is awesome.

Danpei finally decided to say some truth about himself, took him long enough. Glad that everyone went to support Joe, that truly motivates him I believe.

The fight finally begun and oh my it's good! Joe's very happy that he's able to fight a man like Carlos, and so is Carlos happy because of the same reason. Joe hitting Carlos got me very excited, it was a brilliant scene. Can't wait to see how the fight turns out...

That was one of the strongest body blow Joe gave even though he had to use the rebound of the rope instead of a full swing.

It was nice hearing Danpei admit his mistakes but despite that they helped each other out.

And damn that was an awesome attack by Joe!
