Joe is fucking back :D That cross counter was SICK, it nearly took Carlos's head off with a single blow. The sparring match was getting awesome as well until they decided to end it early :/

Man, Carlos last line gave me chills. The real match between him and Joe will be awesome for sure.

That part where Danpei was acting like a crazy person on the streets going back and forth between despair and euphoria might be the single best scene to describe that character's constant emotional flux. The kid had a point. Joe has become a much more mature character and it seems he's outgrown the need for Danpei in his life in a lot of ways. Plus, he's shown no use as either a mentor or as a coach in some 30 episodes.

Joe's Cross Counter was a great moment and the fight with Carlos already has some severe hype. We now just need to know how it's going to come about.

It's important to remember all of this as set in motion by Yoko, who really has developed some vested interest to Yabuki after Rikiishi's death. I really want to see her motivations a bit more explored after she herself admitting a few episodes ago that, at that point, not even she understood "what was it about Yabuki Joe" that made put all this together.

Oh my, this was probably the best episode since Joe versus Rikiishi, this episode was just amazing.

I didn't expect one bit that Joe would ask for employment, just like anyone else, I thought he'll just...request a match, but he didn't just request a match. The fight was very intense and just awesome, it was brilliantly animated too. Carlos saying he'd be Rikiishi if the gloves weren't as heavy was a good touch, it pretty much indirectly told us "Joe is back."

3 tries to finish this series and every damn time I drop it because it is so childish , overly dramatic and stupid I can't even ... Same thing goes for Kaleido Star. Really few great moments then consistent chaos again.
